Wow well it’s payday so I bring my fiancé to come get a bunch of stuff right!! we were just getting started maybe been here for about 10 minutes ane we’ve easily got $150 worth of things, we end up wandering away from the cart as it’s Still visible like eight steps away. I had just been talking with an employee helping me find something When we come back around to the cart we find this ridiculous heavy set older lady with brown hair worker I made eye contact with when we first walked in there and she’s going through though our stuff we were going to buy and my fiancés purse is now open. The ignorant lady that was in our the stuff follows me around for a bit and then she runs straight up front and over the intercom tells security to be ready for a bag check and to watch the back cameras. Itlwwas clearly profiling us, because of how we look. I could tell immediately by the look on her face when we walked in that she either had something to say or an issue. I was honestly so appalled by how disgusting her behavior was I had told my fiancé to throw all of her stuff in the car, and that we were going to go to Michael’s because there is no way I would ever spend spend that feels they can treat somebody like they’re doing something wrong just because we have piercings and tattoos. Way to push your customers into feeling so uncomfortable that you’re competitor ends up making a great sale. We’re not coming back and we will make everybody aware of your ignorant employees Disgusting judgmental behavior. It’s pathetic I almost feel bad...

I found a brand new computerized (not the basic machine) Brothers Sewing machine (never used) at Goodwill for $19.98. It had been cannibalized...someone took the sewing spool thread assembly and the standard J presser foot so I had to replace those.
I visited Hobby Lobby for the Brother's parts and was amazed at the inventory! Great prices! I found a great (appears to be French inspired) wood frame bulletin board in a cream color at half price! It is gorgeous!
They have a great fabric department with fun sewing accessories. I did notice Hobby Lobby doesn't carry Brother bobbins or parts but Singer accessories and Schmidt needles can be found here.
I went to Rocky Mountain Sewing at Southwest Plaza (across the parking lot from JoAnn's Fabrics) to order the thread assembly and the presser foot.) You will love Michelle and Rebecca...at Rocky Mountain Sewing...so helpful! Michelle even installed both of the parts for me when the parts arrived from the Brother's Service Center!
My new machine sews beautifully and Hobby Lobby will be my new favorite for all...

I don't walk in anywhere disheveled or unclean, hygenics and pirential affects on my surroundings are cornerstones to my daily routine. I'm sure it's not about respect and manners because I operate off of the core values that I was raised by. I don't even get professional courtesy when I reveal my 20 years in retail and management. The only thing that's left to consider is whether I'm being judged... and I don't think that job belongs to them. Their job is to maintain a lobby of sorts, one full of hobbies, and to adhere to the universal guidelines of customer service... which is actually very simple; serve the customer, preferably in a fashion that would bring them back again. Same problem as Walmart, no one specializes in anything more than hating their job. Not so helpful when I need specific supplies and the employee huffs and puffs their way to where they THINK...
