Painting with a Twist — Attraction in Lakewood

For our private party our group had a range of ages from 4th grade, to teen, all the way up to adults. They made it simple for everyone to participate, regardless of age or skill level. For the younger ones or those less talented, they offered an option to trace a template of your drawing first, and then it was a matter of just retracing and filling in the lines.

The instructor gave easy and clear directions, with simplified instructions that younger ones can understand (e.g. to dry your paintbrush, make sure your paper towel gives it a big hug because it loves it). She was personable and attentive. During downtimes, they even facilitated games and offered prizes.

The facility itself was clean and organized, with space to bring in food and sufficient room for individuals to comfortably paint. The images offered are well-thought out, providing enough time to complete, yet still enabling enough time to eat and socialize. For photo ops, they have a Painting with a Twist backdrop. The little offerings, like the game play during downtime and photo backdrop, distinguish Painting with a Twist from other places.

Booking the party was so easy. A link may be sent out to guests for them to pay separately, rather than a host necessarily needing to front the entire sum. This is a great option to split the cost amongst a group.

I am very, very disappointed. I had highly recommended this place after I went there a couple of times. My friend decided to book her bridal shower here after I suggested. I was very embarrassed by the service, lack of accountability, and lateness. I looked bad to my friend as her bridesmaid.

The place was supposed to open at 10:45 am to allow the maid of honor to set up for the 11 am event. The lady who is one of the owner showed up after 11 am. She was non apologetic and very snotty. I came up to her and explained how embarrassed I was and she didn't care. She just ignored me like it was our fault. Unfortunately this place requires all the money ahead otherwise we would've left. It was disappointed that the owner didn't think about her customers and tried to make it up. The guest were very uncomfortable as they were waiting for the party to begin. I asked the owner of she could start a mimosa bar and it took her 15 minutes after I asked her to keep the guest...

My wife and I went here to celebrate our anniversary a few days earlier and we had a blast! I'm going to be honest at first, I was skeptical but you can't say anything till you try it. My wife was already convinced because she's done stuff like this before but I a MAN was a little skeptical but again you can't knock anything till you try it. So I went and I had a great time painting with my wife! I even was able to drink a Blue Moon while doing it! The staff here is super friendly and awesome! I definitely recommend this place.
