I've been a loyal customer for years have supported this store since I was little I have never had any issues until this year 2024 going into 2025 I was shopping w husband and 6 year old son and was in the store for about 30 min now mind you I always bring in my own bag in that bag I had a return w reciept we stand in line to checkout and the toy my'son had got was opened so I ask my partner to go get another one he goes back and can't find the same toy so we get out of line and go help him as I'm approaching the toy section I point to tell my husband where it was at I was than cornered by a heavy set girl Aaron the manager and 2 other individuals I've never seen before the girl pulls out her badge and tells me she's LOSS PREVENTION and I need to take what I have out of my bag I asked her why I was confused she said I need whatever you took from here I was so upset 😡 shocked that she did that in front of my son and so I open my bag and she says all of that belongs to me so I get the items I was returning out for her and she grabs them straight from my hand I gave her the reciept and she just tells me to leave get out of here and don't come back. I told My husband to go and pay for my son's toy so that he didn't see this nonsense as I was not going to allow her to treat us that way . So my son and husband go to the register and I asked her for her name she would not give it to me i'asked her to run her cameras whatever else to prove that I walked in with that bag and she was threatening me to drag me out the store. All this with customers as well as management team and would not give me back my merchandise with reciept. I have tried to call a higher rank of personnel to complain about this experience but have not found one. Just wanted to post this review to give others insight about to be cautious.. especially allowing that type of behavior at a Christian based store...not...
Read moreI've enjoyed shopping at this location for years and that changed for me two weeks ago. I am BIG on excellent customer service and I received subpar experience my last go round. I stood it line awaiting to check out. There were only two lines opened at the time. I was the next customer in line. The female cashier appeared to be getting flirted with, by a make manager, as she checked out the two customers ahead of me. They appeared to be together, but had separate transactions. The manager wore a lanyard around his neck that read *customer service", go figure. It seemed as if he was whispering "sweet nothing's" in her ear, as he leaned over her shoulder. His words were intelligible, but she smiled wide and often and spoke softly to him, ignoring the customer she rang up. Their interaction appeared to cause the cashier to move at a slower pace. As I stood there, I watched both lines grow with customers. The second cashier, appeared to be a manager also. A third cashier opened and instead of having the next customer in line go first, every customer behind me and a few customers in the other line, checked out before me. I then asked the manager, what happened to the next customer going first? She ignored me. Then finally my cashier finished with the customers, but then began removing money from the drawer to give to the manager, that continued to flirt with her. There was no acknowledgement of me or consideration, after standing in line for over 5 minutes. Then the manager that ignored me finally turned and looked at me with a smirk. I then left the items I intended to purchase on the counter and departed the store. I have no intentions of ever patronizing this location again. Now I have to travel further, just to have a great...
Read moreLove, love, love this place !!! I have ended up going close to closing both times I've gone (8pm) so I really gotta get in there earlier but this place rocks. The only thing I don't care for is how they rush you out at closing and stand hovering over you until you actually walk out the front door. The manager there is nice and helpful but she was the only employee that smiled. Maybe because I was buying a piece of furniture precisely at 8pm and they wanted to go home? Both times it seemed 4 or 5 people were standing at the register just staring at me til after I paid and walked out. It made me uncomfortable, like did they think I was gonna walk out with the cart and not pay? I bought a bag I was using my 2nd time there and the cashier was staring at it while I paid. She finally asked if I got it there and I said yes, last week, so maybe they thought I was walking out with a bag I didn't pay for ?
