Hamilton Watch Lancaster Store — Attraction in Lancaster

What a historically iconic Hamilton Watch store! Part museum and part retail! My husband and I recently moved to Lancaster County, PA, after having visited this area over the past several years! My husband is a collector/wearer of several different brands of watches. A few years back, he learned of the history of Hamilton watches and the Hamilton Watch Factory that was originally located in the City of Lancaster. During one of our visits to the area, we went to see the site/building of the original factory. The fascinating history of the Hamilton Watches lead him to purchase a couple Hamiltons over the past 3 years. Once we moved to this area, he saw that a storefront had opened a couple of years ago!! A visit to this new location (one of three in the world!) went to the top of our “to do” list. We visited the store on February 18 and our experience was outstanding!! We were greeted by Samantha Denbow, Assistant Store Manager. She is very personable and made us feel extremely welcomed and at ease. As we chatted about what brought us to the store, we had the added pleasure of being introduced to Eilel Garcia, General Manager. Eilel and my husband were talking “Hamilton Watch” language for an hour! Eilel was spending one-on-one time with us, which was a real pleasure. We did not enter the store with the intention of buying anything that day. But, Eilel and Samantha made our whole “exploration” of their Hamilton stock such a personal and informative experience, both my husband and I walked away with new Hamilton watches!! I recently visited the Hamilton Watch Store in Lancaster, PA, and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience. As a longtime fan of Hamilton Watches, it was special to visit the place where this iconic brand was founded. This past weekend, I went back to the Hamilton Watch Lancaster Store after my initial attempt in October, which did not go as I had wanted. However, I really wanted to go back and give it another try and I am extremely happy that I did . I have nothing but praise for this store and the staff. The experience exceeded my expectations. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable not only about the Hamilton watch but showed a true interest in talking about all watches. I completely geeked out about talking to others who enjoy the horological world as much as I do (even though I was so overwhelmed and completely forgot the names of some of my favorite watches that I own). I have long loved the Hamilton brand, especially as it belongs to Lancaster and of course how it has a long history in movies (another passion of mine). I walked out with the watch I had been eyeing for quite sometime and was happy they had it sitting in the case (just waiting for me).
