I've gone to Diyo when they had their pick and choose lunch. This time I decided to go during their, dining in, hours. Staff was inviting and we're able to make great suggestions with food. I loved that they were enthused about knowing our opinions of the food good or bad. A restaurant that is willing to accommodate and learn is my favorite type. I had the mango juice, which was freshly squeezed and delightfully sweet! My favorite dish was the appetizer, chicken lollipops, which was offered with the herby fresh green cilantro sauce and a savory brown sauce. They were great with or without the sauce. The scallion Naan was way too addicting and I ate that plate myself. They give options of level of spice with the curry, mild, medium, and spicy. We chose seafood today and the salmon was a perfect fit with the curry. My dish was like a shrimp fajita. The shrimp was flavorful and seasoned to perfection, it paired well with the grilled veggies and rice. I was happy I could mix any meal I had, with the different sauces and curry. In doing that I was able to decide which sauces paired well with each dish, even though they were all delicious no matter what I did. Nothing was underseasoned or overseasoned, great for any picky eaters. I'll...
Read moreSo good! I’ve been here a few times for take out but I’ve never dined in. When they first opened they didn’t seem set up to take many sit down customers but now the tables are covered with tablecloths and the restaurant has low lighting that fits the dinner ambience. Dining in was just as good as the take out we typically order. My friend and I shared the Chicken Chili Momo and they were spicy and full of flavor would absolutely recommend! We also tried the Chicken Chatamari and I didn’t like that but I think it was more of a pregnancy aversion of mine rather than the quality of the dish. For dinner I got the butter chicken even though there are plenty of traditional Nepalese dishes that I should have tried but in the end they never fail with the butter chicken with a side of Garlic Naan. Would absolutely recommend you give this place a try for takeout or for a night out. They are conveniently located right near the library on...
Read moreThe weekend buffet is phenomenal in terms of quality, price and atmosphere. Me and my wife were greeted properly at the door and the server expected us to have the buffet. The buffet not only acts as a good sampler dishes, it is a entry to the Himalayan/Nepalese cuisine that is extremely rare, I never had this type of food even in state of California where I grew up from, known to be the most diverse cultural culinary melting pot. It is very similar to Indian cuisine yet so different, almost comparing Korean and Japanese cuisine which are also very similar yet different. They had only one dessert but that was enough to make my day, I think it is called Gajar ko Haluwa, but for people to understand they put 'carrot pudding'. That was one of the top 5 dessert I've ever had in my life. We live 50 miles away from here but we will definitely...
