Klein Park — Attraction in Las Cruces

The Mesquite Historic District part of the Federal District establishing 1849. There are two districts in the Mesquite Historic District the Federal and the State designated District. It's colorful and distinctive architecture and the feeling that you have some what gone back in time. Granted you don't see horses on the streets but the people in this neighborhood are is warm and caring and accommodating as those of the past. Why do NONE of the parks in this town have bathrooms!?!? Otherwise, a great little park with a fantastic coffee shop and great restaurant across the street! Love this park. Has everything a family wants from usually clean picnic tables with access to a barbeque, 2 play areas, basketball court, theater/stage area and soft grass on the middle.

To add another fine touch there is also tables set up to allow for chess or checkers tournaments and concrete walkway all around the park.
