The Mesquite Historic District part of the Federal District establishing 1849. There are two districts in the Mesquite Historic District the Federal and the State designated District. It's colorful and distinctive architecture and the feeling that you have some what gone back in time. Granted you don't see horses on the streets but the people in this neighborhood are is warm and caring and accommodating as those of the past. Great restaurants galleries coffee shop and Klein Park which is the heart of the historic district is beautifully restored and kept up.

Oh man I've driven by this place millions of times ( I'm a native ) but I've never been in the park. I'm impressed how old school cute it is. Papered with plenty of playground equipment it even has a stage. Increasing the awesomeness of the park is the businesses and old hostesses lining it. Takes me back to being a kid in LC again.

It has a sidewalk where you can walk around and also teach your kid how to ride bikes. It has pleanty of play area. It's always well maintained. There's a dog walking area also they have doggie poop bags to clean the mess up.

Why do NONE of the parks in this town have bathrooms!?!? Otherwise, a great little park with a fantastic coffee shop and great restaurant across the street! The trees are Huge, providing much shade, the playgrounds (there are 2) are small but fun and challenging, there's a great little stage for live performances, and several picnic tables and benches for your...

Love this park. Has everything a family wants from usually clean picnic tables with access to a barbeque, 2 play areas, basketball court, theater/stage area and soft grass on the middle.

To add another fine touch there is also tables set up to allow for chess or checkers tournaments and concrete walkway all around the park.

The lighting is good and is...
