Atom Bomb Studio — Attraction in Las Cruces

Recently moved to Las Cruces from Cleveland Oh and yesterday I got my first tattoos in New Mexico from Carlton and it was such a great experience! The large tattoo is of my 2 little parrots and a prickly pear cactus. He did such an amazing job; I absolutely LOVE it!! It has bright, vibrant, colors in a watercolor technique and is exactly what I asked for! Now I have my 2 babies with me all the time! They are spot on. He also did a Sanskrit Mantra on my upper back that also looks perfect. Not only are the tattoos great quality and beautiful, the whole experience was super fun! Carlton was so nice and him and the other two artists in the shop, including the owner, were super funny and made the entire time I was there enjoyable! I have just about a dozen tattoos and this was by far the most fun tattoo experience I've ever had. Can't recommend this shop enough and will definitely be back to see Carlton...

We now live about 300 miles away from Las Cruces but when we did live there we heard great things about Atom Bomb. We have been wanting matching tattoos and I've been wanting my "mom" tattoo as I call it for a long time. So we decided to give Atom Bomb a call. Carlton was amazing with us. Everything from his communication with us via phone/email to our designs to our experiance with him was awesome. He responded fast to messages, and when we saw the designs it was better than what we had imagined! This was both mine and my husbands first tattoos and they have a lot of meaning behind them. We absolutely love them and the experience Carlton gave us for our first tattoos was great. We will definitely be going back to Carlton and Atom Bomb Studio in the future for other tattoos we want. Update: I’m now on my third tattoo with Aaron. I cannot express how much I love this shop and all the amazing artists. Every single session feels like hanging out with good friends. The atmosphere is perfect, it’s safe and honestly the most comfortable I’ve ever been having a tattoo. I don’t think I could ever go to another shop because not only is the art top notch so are the people.

Aaron did my embroidery style bee with lyrics from Rhiannon. I haven’t had a tattoo in over a decade and this was by far my best experience. I honestly was shocked that he accomplished this in a 4 hour session. He took all my ideas and made my vision come to life. Not only am I impressed with the art but the atmosphere.
