I've been a record collector/ audiophile for over 35 years, I buy at least one record a week and have for the last 15 years, I was super excited to find out Las Cruces had a record store when I moved from Seattle! The store itself is super cool, awesome vibe, the staff is always great and keen to chat about music, the selection is good and on some days REALLY good, However the pricing is out of control LOL, I mean almost offensive, Yeah a first Pressing John Coltrane lp may be worth $70 plus bucks BUT not if it looks like it was drug behind a tractor? I'm guessing maybe they use discogs to price used albums but you gotta consider condition of the album AND jacket. I would much rather give my money to a local brick and mortar any day of the week as opposed to amazon, So while I guess buying records from them weekly is out I will continue to drop by from time to time and support the cause...Great record...

I'm a media lover not much of a collector but I appreciate the art. So I have many collections. It hurts to say it but this guys suck now. I sold them a few items before just to make space ended up donating a majority of it to them because they couldn't buy anymore because they were running out of space so yeah... I take media of substance they don't even look at it low ball me, I say no clarify why it's a low ball they go thru it again realizing theirs a sealed limited edition vinyl she calls the boss. I wait patiently, I show more collections ask for offers, all they asked for was donations. If you don't mind paying collector prices this is the spot, I'm only going for the rarest, but I usually find everything cheaper at thrift stores or Barnes and Noble, for older records I recommend the plea market or yard sales. If i could give no stars i would.... straight up this guy is a record snop. Everyone who is associated with the shop is... He isnt local. Wasnt raised here and only been here for a few years. He is basically sucking all the good vinyl out of our city.... please please dont support fake local business. Your giving your money to big investors from the east where he is from. I promise he is just here to syphon out good vinyl for big market buyers..... alot of great vinyl for really expensive and most of it is going to his own "personal" collection. Really.... my guy if your a business man you would sell things. These guys belittle you and make you feel small for whatever you got. Dont trade dont sell dont support. Not local just...
