Absolutely love these two stores, the first one is on the downtown mall. The second is on Solano.
If you love used books at a decent price stop in here.
If you have books that you don't want anymore bring them here. You can open an account here. General credit is for the big, hardcover or larger than the normal paperback novel size books. Here they give you credit based on what the book is worth then when you want to buy a general merchandise book, sheet music, CD, or DVD your credit covers 3/4 is the price and you pay one quarter. Example I want a book cheaper than just used. Not a bad deal if you ask me. Both stores are the largest used book stores I've ever seen. We had one store where I grew up and it was quite large but these two stores take the cake on any other used book store I've ever had the pleasure to visit. If you like the size novels of say harlequin romances and other novels. Great, they have thousands of softcover novel size books. Great place to hang out on a cloudy rainy day, a hot sunny day or a great place to search for that book you've been wanting to read for ages.
Discover new authors as I have. Read brand new series and fall in love with reading, again.
Stop by, ask if you can't find itv and then have a great time...

Read moreUsed to love Coas...until I dropped off some used books for credit. The girl at the register was so rude to me. I'm deaf and have autism and couldn't process what she was saying to me, so when I tried to clarify, she started speaking very loudly obviously extremely frustrated that I didn't already have an account and she had to make one for me. She treated me so badly to the point where I almost cried and left without bothering to look around anymore. I even donated paper bags which I was told they really needed at my last visit. I'm really hesitant to recommend this place because of the obvious discrimination I received.
To the owner: The other employees looked really uncomfortable after I said I was deaf, so if embarrassing the disabled is pretty pervasive in your company's culture, you've just alienated an entire client base. Good job.
Two stars given because the prices of used books are decent, and the shop is clean and well-maintained. If you're cool with their attitudes against the disabled, this is the...
