Trails End Gallery — Attraction in Las Cruces

I took a pair of heavy silver earrings to Armando Garcia, the jewelry at Trail’s End, to have them refashioned into a pendant and a ring set. I was unable to wear them as earrings as they were heavy and pulled on my ear lobes. But, they were too beautiful not to wear somehow. Mr. Garcia understood and created exactly what I wanted. Great art studio in Las Cruces. Complimentary snacks and beverages were a nice touch. Live music in a comfortable outdoor venue in a beautiful winter evening with corn muffins and chili roasting on an open fire made for a delightful "First Friday" evening.

I really enjoyed visiting this place. I happen to be a real fan of Robert Highsmith's watercolors and there is a room full of them for sale here. Works by other excellent local artists fill additional rooms. There is also a small variety of antiques for sale scattered around the premises. To me, this is a very charming and interesting gallery.
