We take our dogs here almost daily. One of r dogs loves chasing skateboarders so she absolutely loves the skate park...& they all know her & love her back. There r some sweet, homeless kitties living in back of the park behind baseball diamond & in front of school & r dogs love feeding them as well. Other than these popular spots, the entire park is nice. The track around the entire park is huge & wonderful for walking around. If you're not dog owner's tho, this park is awesome cuz it has it all! Basketball court, baseball diamond, soccer field, skate park, shuffleboard, bocce ball lanes, tennis court, water park, cpl playgrounds, a few pavilions w/ picnic tables & grills, grills & water fountains scattered around park, dog park for small dogs w/ their own water fountain, dog park for large dogs w/ their own water fountain & a public bathrooms there as well. There r homeless ppl there often, especially during the day...but police have been kicking them out from sleeping there overnite recently. They keep to themselves from my experience tho. Never had an issue there at all. And every morning there's park workers cleaning the whole park. Its def nice enough that we don't mind taking r dogs...

Updated Review:
Overall the this park is great. It has ample parking in and around the park. They have three great dog areas. Two of which I have visited. The corner or Eastern and St. Luis has two beautiful dog areas. One side is for medium to large dogs and the other is for small dogs. Both boast two types of areas one which is Grassy and the other pays more desert like and both have ample space for your pup to run around and play and potty. I really like the fact that it's fairly secure all around since there's two gates before you enter the dog area for dog security and it's all beautifully fence all around. Be sure to bring doggy poop bags to pick up after your dogs potty time. Outside the door areas it's beautifully manicured and taken care of with a huge field to play soccer or other sports and a great play area for kids. It's the perfect place for kids to play or just have a...

Anyhow, we landed here. We had dogs (well-behaved and socialized), some kids on soccer teams having a nice practice, some mature guys enjoying their retirement.
I certainly plan to return. I'll post a few pictures.
I'm glad I found the place. It's in my new neighborhood (well within walking distance).
I certainly recommend this park. It's nice to find a smaller patch that is free from the problems larger places have. (Drug use involving needles left behind, people having loud arguments, frankly unwelcoming neighbors. Let's keep it like this. Our parks are...
