If I can give it a zero , I would give it a Zero star review. I gotten a membership here and moved out of state a week prior to moving out a called to cancel my membership here.
Since they don’t have LVAC in any other state. The gentleman I spoke with mention to send a written statement with proof of address change and the membership will be cancel within 30 days.
7 month later I have a collection report of $840 dollars and now they are trying to collect if not full amount atletas $420 to cancel my account.
When I have already called and cancelled this membership Back in July.
I called collections and mention there was not trace of the email letter request but just a call, which is odd because I had already cancelled.
Collections mention of I can manage to pay at least $420 to cancel. WHY ??????
I called back the front desk and LVAC and the gentlemen there said my account is still active, then why did they send it out for collections and WHY HAVE THEY NOT CANCELLED IF I CALLED JULY 2020.
Then I called back Collections and the called dropped again, maybe bad signal or something else. I spoke with a woman there and mention upon there notes the gentleman mention to pay at least $420. When he mentioned if I can proof I moved in July 2020 the fee will only be $50 dollars since my account at the gym is still active.
What kind of business are they running , they just want to Squeeze out Peoples pocket for money. They don’t care much for there customers but just charging fees with our anyone’s consent.
WARNING ; If you want to get a membership here expect to pay more than $50 dollars to cancel it, based on Collection because Apparently this people just send you out to collections with out notice and boom , one day out of now where to get notified by your credit report you have to pay this in collection.
Terrible place to come and get a membership, I highly recommend to stick with Planet fitness. Planet fitness had never given me...
Read moreI have been to gyms in the past they are about the same. I was injured during the 1October Route 91 Shooting when I was released from physical therapy I was given exercises to continue on my own to keep building my strength and heal. I have been attending Jane’s Aquafit class and I’m completely impressed. The first day Jane asked me my name and if I was recovering from any injuries or if I had any injury so she could help make sure I was being careful not to hurt myself. I have never seen any instructor ever ask that! I explained my injury and the entire class she would provide specific instructions on the exercise ask me if I was ok and let me know how to modify if needed. She is in the water doing the exercises with you not just standing on the side telling you. I missed a couple classes when I came back she asked if I was ok she was worried when I didn’t come in. She asks everyone how they are what’s been going on. She remembers people’s names from class to class and their limitations! How she remembers us all I have no idea I’m lucky to remember what I did yesterday! She truly cares about everyone who takes her class she’s not just there to teach she’s there to help and make everyone better physically and emotionally! It is a great workout and you will be sore in a good way after her class! I know a lot of people think these classes are easy I can assure you they aren’t! She will have you moving and kissing weight in no time! If you do have an injury you need this class! You can work everything without further injury Jane will help you! I have already seen a difference from taking her class. I also love that these classes are in the evening so I can get to them. Since I work during the day I can’t take the morning classes so the evening ones are perfect! Thank you Jane for everything I absolutely love the class! Thank you LVAC for having a perfect leader...
Read moreOn the 22nd of July, 2024, I visited the Las Vegas Athletic Club (LVAC) branch located at 5200 W Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV. I arrived at the gym between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm and engaged in a workout session. Subsequently, I visited the Juice Bar within the facility for a refreshing shake, the experience of which left me dissatisfied. The attire of the Juice Bar staff member, Erika, appeared inappropriate for a professional setting, prompting inquiries about the establishment's employee dress code.
When I ordered my usual Get Big Shake with vanilla flavor and oat milk, I was surprised to be charged $14.01 for the shake, whereas, based on my understanding, it should have cost only $12.94 including tax. This raised concerns regarding the possibility of an unauthorized tip being added to my total, especially for customers who opt not to receive a printed receipt. I viewed this practice as misleading and unethical.
To confirm my suspicions, I visited another LVAC location the next day and ordered the same shake, which indeed cost $12.94 including tax, affirming my concerns.
I brought this matter to the attention of the club manager, Helen Chavez, who unfortunately did not effectively address the issue and responded with an uncooperative attitude despite the evidence I presented. As a dedicated LVAC member, I firmly assert that no customer should be subjected to misleading practices, particularly when making purchases at the Juice Bar. It is unacceptable to add a tip to a customer's bill without explicit knowledge or consent. I strongly urge LVAC to take decisive action to investigate and...
