Honestly the lanes are nice here. Unfortunately we came in there tonight for my twin brothers birthdays and did not have the greatest experience. We showed up at 9:30pm on the dot and wanted to play three games of bowling. The girl behind the counter Cierra said we were only allowed two.. so we paid for the two games and finished both of them by exactly 10:25pm we asked to play one more tie breaker game since we only took 30 minutes a game. The girl behind the counter again refused to let us play one more game and proceeded to tell us that they closed at 11pm. If they closed at 11 and we only took 30 min. a game then that means we still had time for one last game! Another man working told us that they just weren’t going to sell us another game and literally their only reason was that they closed at 11. I understand that they wanted to get out of there obviously pretty bad but we are paying customers trying to have a nice time for my brothers birthdays and they flat out refused to let us play one last game when there was clearly plenty of time. Heaven forbid we finish our last game 5 min after close. Such a shame when you have two lazy employees working that completely ruin your time just because they want to go home. Never have I ever heard of a bowling alley that refuses service 30...
Read moreI have never experienced such bad customer service and incompetence as I did this past Saturday night at this bowling alley in Don Laughlin. Shout out to Tanner as well as the useless manger on duty that night for admitting they made a mistake when ringing us up but did nothing to correct their mistake and kept arguing nonsense to the point that it almost ruined our trip. We told him to charge our party of 11 kids for 1 hour (2 lanes) but he rang up 1 game and it shut off at 38 minutes. Then he remembers me asking for 1 hour but only charged 1 game bc “most people take 1 hour for a game”. Still nothing they could do but charge me for another 1/2 hour. WTH?!? If you go here, make sure to check your receipt carefully. Others around experienced the same kind of nonsense and we treated similarly. It was a total waste of time and energy not to mention money. If it weren’t for the fun laser tag afterwards it would have ruined our night. Thanks for nothing Riverside Bowling. Please do a better job training your staff to punch buttons correctly so as not to piss...
Read moreThe Riverside Lanes were a nice break from the glitz and noise of the casinos. Just me, my parents, and a couple relaxing games of bowling.
We didn’t do any Cosmic Bowling (which likely involved neon lights and music late at night). There wasn’t anything too special about the place but it was fun. The service was good, everything was in good condition, and I could see lots of people having fun.
One detail I noticed was that the scoreboards would occasionally show some random bits of trivia throughout our games or different types of bowling terminology. Some of that was pretty interesting.
And for a little easter egg, someone made an impressive drawing of a Bulbasaur at the service desk.
I’m not sure when I’ll return to the Riverside Resort but I will definitely make time for...
