I had the screen protector put on at this location because of their warrantee. It broke within a month, but I kept the protector on and waited because of how quickly it broke. I have used broken phones before and figured it wasn’t worth the half hour plus drive to get something that was going to fail quickly. I waited until the protector had broken in multiple spots.
I went in today to finally have the protector changed as per the warrantee. Despite a photo of the receipt and my information in the system, the employee insisted that I had put a different protector on. He insisted I return then next day to talk with his boss. After learning his boss was on shift at a different location, I insisted that his boss could handle this today.
I bought the protector at this location because of the warrantee. I should have jumped on getting it fixed when it broke(a week after it was installed). Even if with a receipt, my information logged into their system, and the patience from the initial broken protector, I gave a decent rating.
Why would I have put in a replacement screen protector when buying the protector here specifically for the insurance?
It definitely feels scam like because of how much work it was to have their warrantee respected, but they did eventually replace their broken protector. When doing business here keep documentation, even doubly so, as it takes a manager to respect their logged in information in their system.
Thank you for holding up your replacement agreement, eve if it was another $12+ and a whole...
Read moreI cracked my screen and went here to fix it. The first time they made the repair, they gave me a faulty screen. I came back during the warranty period and they switched the screen for free. Two days later, my screen started glitching. It would turn off at random moments while using it, so I figured there was something wrong with the screen. When I went into the store to ask about it, I waited for 45 minutes by the desk before leaving since no one had shown up. I returned another day, and they said there was damage to the screen, therefore, they couldn't fix it for free because of the damage. There was no damage to the phone, but only to the interior of the screen that they put on. This damage was most likely caused on their end due as I had never dropped my phone or mishandled it (plus, I experienced additional issues just days after the repair). The store would not fix the phone without an additional payment.
Even though it is slightly more expensive (with newer phone models only around $40 more), I would recommend going to the Apple Store to fix cracked screens. It would have saved me time, and ironically a lot of money, to go...
Read moreI had my phone screen replaced here and was initially offered two options — $130 and $170 — without being told that neither was a ZAGG screen or came with a clear warranty. Shortly after the replacement, I began experiencing issues such as overheating and an unresponsive screen, even when the phone was off. When I returned to the store, the staff was unhelpful and immediately tried to upsell me, insisting the problem was due to a “bad quality” screen, not the installation.
The warranty terms were unclear, and I was misled into thinking there was a 30-day guarantee. One employee even gave me a fake name when I asked for his information and told me I couldn’t return an item I hadn’t opened, despite the store’s stated policy. After noticing a crack on the screen (which occurred due to the screen sticking out beyond the edge of the phone), they blamed all issues on the crack — even though the problems began before it happened.
Overall, the experience felt misleading and unprofessional, and I would not...
