I normally don’t like to leave negative reviews when the service provider was kind and professional. I went to get my brows waxed and I specifically said to just clean up around my natural brow and follow the shape. We both even communicated that I did not want to wax off the thickness of my natural brows. I struggle with social anxiety so although I felt she was waxing too much, I was too scared to say anything. But I also came here trusting the service provider so I wanted to give Christine the benefit of the doubt. Once she was done she didn’t give me a mirror to look at myself. There was one in the room but I’m used to having a handheld one given to me to see the results. Either way I didn’t want to look at them there because I knew I wasn’t going to be happy. I just wanted to leave. My right eyebrow became irritated, I’m assuming from waxing over the same spot too many times. In my experience at other locations, after removing the wax, the esthetician applies pressure to soothe the pain in the moment and afterward applies some type of cream or powder to relieve the pain and prevent more redness. Wax Appeal has been my go to place since moving to Utah. I had tried other waxing places before I found them and the other shops just weren't what I was looking for. Grace however has always been so good to me. The pricing is fair, she is genuinely nice and easy to talk to, and Im always satisfied with her results. You can tell she is very knowledgeable when it comes to her work and she always makes the effort to do a job well done. The building itself is always clean and the rooms for services are well-decorated and offer plenty of privacy. I've never had problems with availability and the booking process is super easy. I was just in and was completely ignored, horrible experience!!. I had an appointment for 4pm and I got here right on time. I walk in and the woman at the front desk starts walking away. So I wait and think she’ll be back but a while passes and she doesn’t. So I think how should I get there attention because there was no bell. I called their phone number and it started ringing right in front of me and NOBODY came out to answer. I could clearly hear the workers were in the back just having a conversation!
