I had the absolute worst experience at this store yesterday. It all started when I called to ask about a recalled item. (Fisher Price - RockNPlay) The women I spoke to told me I'd receive an instore credit of $89.99. So I decided to drive out of my way, from Ogden - to go to this store. I get there, bring the item to Guest Services. Get up to the counter, hand it to the guy and he gives me a gift card for $64. I was confused and irritated, but waked away and over to the baby section anyways. As I walked around I worked myself up more about it because I had budgeted spending $90. So I called while still instore and spoke to the same women, who gave me the okay to go and ask for the remainder of what I was supposed to receive. When I got back to Guest Services and explained the situation to the guy, he called to verify that I was telling the truth. Because they are "only allowed to give $64". But he also had the nerve to call me "the women about the RockNPlay DISCREPANCY". If you're not familiar with the word, Google it. It was rude, humiliating and uncalled for, but I still decided to carry on, go back to the baby section and continue shopping for various items on my registry. While I was in the baby area, I ran into a women who worked in that department and asked her to get me my registry bag, because I wasn't comfortable asking the man at Guest Services for it. She agreed and we talked about my pregnancy while walking back to Guest Services. While walking up towards the desk at Guest Services, this man had the nerve to approach me, yet again. And ask me "what I needed now". So I explained I was just having her get my registry bag, she handed it to me and I went back to the baby section to shop to various items I now had coupons for. I finished up my shopping and decided to go to self checkout because I had 20+ items, and all but 4-5 had coupons. As we got to our 4th or 5th item and coupon scan, an employee decided to come take it upon herself, to remove MY registry coupon booklet from my hands, and start ripping the pages out - before we could even finish ringing up our items! She wouldnt quit asking if we were done yet, or if we were done now, with every product we scanned! Finally she handed it back to me, but don't worry. She stayed within ARMS reach the whole time, until I was finally done! To me, this was completely and TOTALLY inappropriate! I used more than half the booklets coupons, there was a reason for this - I had no use/want for the other products. So I was just going to throw the booklet away once we were done scanning our coupons. But instead of asking, she took it upon herself to overstep our personal space. Then the best part, I tried explaining to her that 2-3 coupons hadn't worked. She of course didnt believe me, and insisted that if we just checked out - we'd see it on the receipt. IE as a difference/total savings. Guess what, I was right. They hadn't worked. So yet again, I got to walk over to Guest Services!! YAY. She saw us standing in line, and walked over and had the nerve to say "did you change your mind?". I said "no, I was right when I said those coupons weren't working". So not only was I beyond irritated, and humiliated at this point, she managed to embarrass me beyond belief infront of a line of people. I've since removed any remaining items from Target, because I no longer want to deal with this company or have an even remotely similar experience to the one I had yesterday. I will not ever register for anything, or recommend anyone do it either, or ever shop here again. Sincerely, a already high risk mom -...
Read moreSo, I went to target 🎯 optical about a month ago. There are two ladies in there most of the time, one is a really nice, young girl with glasses and brown hair and another middle age white woman with a “pick me attitude.” This post will be about the “pick me” woman. I went initially to get my eye exam and the nice girl was checking me in. Upon checking me in she’s asking for my insurance and I was telling her about my insurance which is TRICARE. All of the sudden “pick me” woman straight up stood up and shouted, “well which one it is?” And she started naming all of them, to which honestly, I did not know for my husband just tells me, is TRICARE for life. So I really didn’t know what to tell her, regardless the nice girl that is taking care of me she continues to do her thing with me and I get my eye exam, pick which glasses 👓 I wanted, paid for them and leave. My glasses were $215, the eye exam is $50 - I paid for my glasses cash and the insurance is supposed to pay for the exam, keep this in mind. So, I made an appointment for my mom at the same optical. I didn’t remember what time the appointment was but I thought it was 10:30. Today, the day was rainy, and there was an accident on our way to target. I get there at 10:38 with my mom and 9 month baby. Again, the nice girl is checking us in, and pick me ogre is sitting on a desk, when she immediately turns around and says, “you are late, your appointment was at 10:20 and you are 20 minutes late, you have to reschedule ” At that time was 10:41 cause the girl was checking us in. I was like, ok, and we rescheduled. So we were about to leave when I ask the nice girl if she could please check because I had gotten a call about the insurance. Again, I am talking to the girl that always checks people in or at least me, she asks if I have a medical card and I say I only have my military ID that has the benefits number which she already has. The nice girl asked if she could make a copy and I mentioned to her that I believe we are not allowed to give the military ID to make photocopies. To this again, “pick me” jumps right in and she says, “yeah we can, yeah we can,” “I have documents to prove that we can make a copy.”To which she brings out a binder full of papers and I asked, “from when are those forms?” She says 2018 and continues to go on and on that if I didn’t let them make a copy, they would refuse service and I would have to go get an exam on base for they would not pay for the exam. I was taking care of my baby that started to get fuzzy and trying to talk to this woman while she was being extremely unhelpful, rude and confrontational. I just said, “I already got my exam, and my glasses.” As I was walking away I said to the nice girl, “thank you for being kind, hopefully your coworker can learn from you.” If they deny the exam, I’ll call TRICARE and explained that they had all of the information they needed to process the claim. I just refused them to let them make a photocopy of it. If you google a simple “can you make a copy of a military ID?” It will tell you right off the bat, that is federally prohibited to make a copy of a military ID UNLESS you are a medical health provider contracted by the DOD.
This lady needs to check herself out. She’s probably divorce from a military or something because that whole “pick me attitude” and I am better than you attitude that’s exactly what she reflects. Zero...
Read moreWent to Target this AM, as I walked pretty much the entire store I noticed several employees working diligent and with masks on, clearly practice COVID 19 precautions which is expected and awesome. However as a customer and consumer, not once was I greeted by, acknowledged, asked if I can be helped by any Target employee. I then noticed that any Employee that needed to pass by me refused to greet me, look at me, glanced away, to the side or down and provided absolutely no customer service. As I was exiting the store, I saw a group of 3 Employees huddled together, masks on, no social distancing. As I made my way passed, they disbanded, and one did finally look at me and greeted me. I greeted her back. I then chose to stop (keeping my social distance), asked if a manager was present/available, she then asked how she can help me, she said she is a manager. I asked if I can verbalize an observation and introduced myself by first name. She said yes. With social distancing in place, I provided my experience and observation. She responded she is sorry. My education lesson: following COVID19 precautions does not mean no customer service. It does not mean to not engage with customers, it does not mean stop greeting customers, it does not mean stop asking to help customers, it does not mean no eye contact with your consuming customers. Target leadership needs to educate their employees that providing exceptional customer service is very essential especially right now. Don't take your consumers for granted. I wonder how many other customers have had this experience at Target or any other store for that matter. This is the first for me during this COVID19 time. Most places, the customer service is the same or even more...
