Julie, is more than a tour guide, she is a docent who teaches you as you tour, it’s like living history through her. She’s a wealth of information about the entire home, and all the occupants, and their day-to-day lives! Beautifully preserved the hour tour flew by. Dexter’s cabin is also incredibly historical, very interesting about town founder who is a big part of Colorado’s history, beautifully presented. If you’re traveling to Leadville, this is a must! Thank you Julie, for all your insight and your love of keeping...
Read moreBy far, my favorite museum/ historical site in all of Leadville! The preservation of artifacts is probably the best I've Ever seen. She was even willing to guide me through some rooms after the tour and answer all my extra questions. She also gave recommendations of other local historical sites. If you visit any historical sites, this should be at the top of your list....
