I was very impressed with this local business. Our family just arrived to MO and were in desperate need of a washer. After an extremely bad experience with Lowe’s, we needed a washer with same day pickup. I called Jacobsen appliances and the person I spoke to had top notch customer service. They took time to check their inventory to ensure they had some in stock for pickup and then told me the store closed at 2pm, but if that wasn’t doable they would work something out. I was very impressed.

Upon arrival, a man met us at the door, shook our hands and immediately began asking what we were looking for in a washer. I explained our wants and the man immediately started showing me the different washers they had to fit our wants. Within 15 minutes, we had decided on the washer for our family, checked out, and were escorted to their warehouse (5 min from shop) by another employee. He then got our washer and helped load it into our truck. We were extremely impressed and thankful for the experience with Jacobsen appliances! Will definitely purchase from them...

Bought (what I thought were) all new Whirlpool kitchen appliances. Fridge was missing shelves, water filter inoperable, and the door doesn’t seal! Notified Jacobsens in June & was told “a few weeks” to replace the door. Then a month later called because I had heard nothing from them and they said could be “4-8 weeks”. It is now August 6 and today they said they have no idea when it might arrive and, “they are just the middle man”. I should “call the manufacturer to see if they can do anything about it..”. Wha?? To be clear, the door doesn’t seal and therefore runs constantly and freezes up trying to keep things cold. Seems they should stand by their name and replace the fridge and settle this between Jacobsens and Whirlpool. One star was the lowest choice, I would gladly raise to a 5 if they would simply take some responsibility and ownership. Lowe’s can have one delivered and installed in 5 days :-(. Makes it hard to support local, small business with this type...

Purchased a refrigerator and stove from here! Worst refrigerator I've ever owned! After only having it a few days I noticed the fridge I had was no good.. Called them they told me I had to contact whirlpool! Had to do a full run around with whirlpool they finally agreed to pick up the refrigerator and replace it! When the gentlemen from Jacobson appliances came and swapped out my whirlpool fridge , he threw the fridge out the door, it fell and slid down the steps.. Now the refrigerator they replaced is worse then the one I got in the first place! The gasket seals aren't even in tact! Wish I would of just kept my old fridge that was almost 20 years old! Will never purchase from this...
