I was a little bit surprised when we arrived at 6:30 on Saturday night to find sushi House almost completely empty with only one other customer in the building thats usually a red flag for me. A decent restaurant should have no problem filling itself on Friday and Saturday night. Getting to the point however the environment was pleasant and the sushi was somewhere between passable and decent. Definitely a big step up from the garbage they serve most of the buffets around, but it lacked a bit of something...... The flavors just weren’t outstanding, the rice was delicious, but Both my veggie and avocado rolls tended to fall apart. Because of its very high reviews I think my expectations may Have been a bit high. For a dedicated sushi joint thousands of miles from the nearest ocean they’re doing a pretty decent job, I have had much better sushi in some of the nearby urban areas like Springfield and St. Louis. Scratched my sushi itch.

We find Sushi House to be surprisingly good every time we eat there. The atmosphere is quaint and nice, and the service is always really good. We’ve enjoyed all different kinds of nigiri and dinner rolls over the years. The bento boxes are a good value, and the Rangoon and egg roll sides are great. We like their miso soup and I personally like their seaweed salad very well. There’s lots to choose from if you have guests or friends that don’t enjoy sushi, but the sushi is extremely well prepared and presented.

My wife and I go here almost weekly to enjoy date night. We have never had a meal that wasn't fresh and delicious. The service is excellent. Growing up in NYC makes me a hard grader when it come to restaurants, but they deserve an A! Since the scamdemic, they haven't offered in restaurant dinning, but they will deliver to you outside at the curb and the food is as good as ever.

We ordered in-house for take-out. Service was great. We were just passing through Lebanon, and my daughter asked for sushi. There were not many biblically clean food options (I mean are there ever), but we found the Alaska roll, and Chicken Teriyaki was a good choice. The sauce leaked all inside the bag no matter how carefully we were with the bag. We were asked if we like Wasabi, which we do, and it wasn't given. We picked seaweed salad as a side to the dinner box, and we're quite flummoxed when another chef salad was inside the box (we didn't choose the dressing, it was just added). Employees seemed a bit nervous. We weren't asked if we wanted a drink, so, I didn't bother asking more questions than necessary. The decor near the sushi bar was appropriate, but the entryway needs a new look, it was kitschy and not the typical Oriental decorations most look for in a Sushi House. The prices were a bit steep for what we left with; 15.95 for a dinner box, came with teriyaki chicken strips, white rice with the sauce, a spoon full of chef salad, 2 sushi rolls, and a condiment cup of seaweed salad, chopsticks, 3 soy sauce packets. No wasabi. 4 parking spaces, one handicapped space. Lots of seating inside. Building is close to a major street and near the street enough to see. I did not see the bathroom, but the whole place looked clean. I reduced the rating for the peel and stick stickers, the parking, and the odd demeanor of the employees. Also, pretty sure spoons are not supposed to rest in the food, inside the bowl, with a cover. Would I recommend?, maybe. Would I visit, again?,...

I LOVE SUSHI HOUSE!

I have gone here quite a bit. The sushi is great! I recommend the OMG Roll and the Jurassic Roll! They are fantastic! You cannot go wrong with the California, Philadelphia, or Avacado Rolls.

You order by the roll, which is, 8 pieces. The prices are reasonable. The wait staff is amazing! They are all very friendly and extremely helpful! The restaurant is small so, during peak dinner hours you may have to wait for a table but, it won't be too long. Plus, it is worth the wait. I take my girlfriend there often. When my kids were in town visiting, I brought them here. They loved it too! In fact, they said it was the best sushi they have ever had!

I would give this place more stars...
