Update: 8/15/2025 Still Delicious Chinese Food & the Chicken Fried Rice & Bamboo Chicken is Delicious, Too. Definitely the Best Chinese Food in Lebanon, Missouri. Especially, after Chen's Now has New Owners who have Ruined the food. Recommend Bamboo Garden for Any & ALL Chinese Food! Update: Delicious Sweet & Sour Chicken, Sesame Chicken, & General Chicken with Crab Rangoons. Great Service this time! Clean Restaurant Inside and Outside. Great Lunch Specials! Very Much Improved! *Nothing bad, but nothing great. Service was lacking and waitress was absent for any refills, napkins, etc. Only came out from the back to seat you & take your payment at the end. It was impossible to get her attention. Now, they've SHUT DOWN the BUFFET, so Absolutely No Reason To Go & Eat there! Need to reopen the buffet or take down the sign. Appreciate the owner's comments & maybe it was an off day! Will try again sometime. At least, the inside is still open. Update: Went there, again, and the drive thru was Closed 15 minutes before 9 PM. IF you stay Open until 9 PM, then you should be OPEN or change the hours! Decent food, the rice portion is small, usually around 145g to 190g of rice. It's not consistent. It would be great if they served black rice as a substitute since its nutritional profile is way better than any other rice grown. The container the rice comes in weighs 7g empty with lid. The main entrées always weighs well over 700g of food and is always packed full as it should be with traditional Chinese takeout containers. The container weight is 47g empty. They dont have any nutritional information for their dishes, so you will have to guess if you track your calories. The egg rolls are not greasy like most places, you can't even see any oily residue on your fingers just crumbs, its like they we're baked instead of fried but i didnt ask how they cook them there good the way they are. Get there early if you want steamed rice instead of fried rice. Sometimes, "they run out." If you're looking for a buffet, you won't find it here. All there entrées are made fresh to order, so there's a little bit of a waite and that's ok by me. I have no interest in a buffet where the food has been sitting out for who knows how long or if someone has contaminated...

This restaurant took me a bit by surprise. Although it says on the sign it is a buffet one of the first things you learn as you get to the door is they are not serving a buffet. Or at least they were not serving a buffet the day we were there. They also mentioned on their signage that they were not a fast food restaurant and it would take some time for a meal to be prepared. In our case that was not a bad thing as we were not in a particular hurry. The menu is fairly simple that offers a fair selection. I had the general chicken which was completely unlike any other general Chicken I've had any other place. It was delicious! There was a bit of a fruit taste to the sauce which was fantastic. Can't say enough good things about the crab rangoon for the spring rolls either. Serving sizes were quite generous and we did not miss having a buffet. The service and staff were excellent.
