This is a very cool museum dedicated to the mill history of the Lewiston - Auburn area. The director was very nice and answered every question we had. Examples of weaving looms, yarn cards, cobbling machines, and bricks made in the mills up and down the river. The upstairs area has more exmples of weaving patterns and silk screens used along with other machinery.

This was a fantastic place and it was amazing to see the incredible history of the bates mill. I highly recommend checking out this museum and I am definitely going back!! Go see for yourselves everyone; L/A FINALLY has someplace that celebrates the history and culture of the fantabulous Lew/Aub 👏🏻😊❤️

I Visited the museum with my Sister Carol Gott. I Donated these memorial rock's I painted for the 18 lost in the mass shooting in Lewiston. Our parents used to work here many years ago. This place is going through quite a face lift and it's amazing what's been done. ❤️
