So, there is something that I've often done while writing a review, and that's talking about what I ordered, the quality, and the service. To be quite honest with you, a visit will be worth your every minute at your table, and the experience will prove itself. The Potstickers, I highly recommend as an appetizer. Full of flavor and nothing overwhelmed the the tastebuds. You can taste everything in it, flavors balanced, sweet and spicy. Really, really, good! Now, between the wife and I, she had French Onion soup, I had the haddock chowder. She had the baked haddock, I had the meatloaf. We shared bites, of course! Everything. EVERYTHING had it's very own flavorful distinctiveness to it. It's almost like Station Grill wears every dish like a badge of honor. Similar dishes to other places, sure, but they do something unique, with everything we tried, that sets themselves apart from a run of the mill, unpack and serve restaurant. Having said all of that, which I kind of thought I wasn't going to, but did, I want to bring attention to something that absolutely made my dining experience at Station Grill. You may have heard this somewhere before: It's all in the details. Yes, the details. Little intricacies that make you enjoy and want to return again and again. I could go on forever about them, but I'm just going to detail one that really displayed to me the thoughtfulness that went into my plate of meatloaf and mashed potatoes. I was asked when ordering if I wanted gravy on the mash; I did, and I got it. I was expecting like a scoop of potato with gravy drizzled over the top. Nope. Not at all what I got. The plate showed up with a generous serving of freshly made mashed potatoes, and a little tiny detail that I've loved to have at every family dinner in my childhood. They made the effort TO MAKE A WELL in the potatoes, and fill it up with gravy like a volcano of deliciousness! We brought home portions of much of what we ordered, (because we order what we want so to have leftovers) but not those mashed potatoes and gravy! The deliciousness is in those kinds of details. I highly recommend Station Grill. I also recommend that you bring money for a generous tip. The service staff, as amazing as the food was, is...
Read moreOn November 3rd my family and I had breakfast/brunch in your establishment. Upon walking in I noticed a gentleman sitting at a table and drinking a beer, and other people whom I thought most were patrons. We were a party four, three of the four ordered the same dish and the other something different. The first order was never received in its entirety, the other three come out COLD. The server let us know that she didn’t feel comfortable serving the breakfast all together that she was having it be made again. Which was ok. The other three breakfasts come out along with the remaining of the first. All three were COLD. Brought it to the server’s attention to whom let a gentleman know whom I thought was a guest upon walking in. Guest perception is everything. This gentleman come to the table and apologize removed the COLD food and upon walking away states “I will have them remake the food but I can’t promise that it will be made correctly”. At that time the gentleman drinking the beer gets up and heads into the kitchen. Food was remade and was hot. Upon leaving my family and I brought concerns guessing it was the manager that we didn’t like how it was handle even though we weren’t looking for anything free. Told him that guest perception is everything and all he could try and justify for whatever reasons. Again GUEST PERCEPTION...
Read morePlease read to the end. My husband loves to go to lotus after his appointments. However, they were closed today so he was pouty and asked me to decide. Lol Looking through what Google was offering, I came across Station Grill and said, why not try something completely new to each of us. There were pictures of outdoor seating and thought that would be nice. We arrived and disappointment hit again. I'm guessing that's no longer a choice. We looked to the adjacent parking lot and saw outdoor seating on the second floor. Even though I wasn't enticed to eat pizza the outdoor seating was tugging at me. Right in the crucial moment of making a decision, a man from the Station Grill came out and told us the food was amazing and it was nice and cool inside. Not wanting to feel like a jerk, we went in. Well let me tell you........ IT WAS AMAZING!!!! THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!!!! THE WAITRESS WAS FANTASTIC!!! THE CHEF COOKED THE FOOD TO THE EXACT TEMPERATURE!!!.WIN WIN WIN!!! So, why write a very lengthy post especially when it wasn't about the Station Grill ? Glad you asked. Sometimes, taking a detour from your plans, or thinking something looks a little better, try the uncertain one because that is where you just might find a gem. I know we did, and we couldn't have been more pleased. Thank you for a very...
