If i could give 0 stars I would. Ordered delivery, it took almost two hours. Called management to complain and the manager argued with my wife. I took over the call and eventually to my surprise got the owner of the company. He was every bit as ignorant, uninformed, and abhorrent as the manager. He did everything from blaming me for complaining so that i could get a free pizza, to trying the sympathy card and "it was busy".
My experience: 6:20pm: My wife placed a call to Lewiston House of Pizza. She ordered the pizza, and they took the payment over the phone. There was no mention of how long it'd be. 8:25pm: Wife places call back to LHOP asking where they were. While the person whom answered the phone was explaining that they hadn't even cooked the pizza yet.... a delivery guy showed up. 8:30pm: The delivery guy only had the receipt for the customer and not the merchant receipt with the tips, and signature fields on it. After signing the 'receipt' i noticed that the delivery guy was HIGH as hell! He couldn't even look me in the eyes. No tip was given. The pizza was cold. Not warm, but cold. The chicken dinner had water all through it, the fries were soggy but maybe 3 of the tenders were salvaged with the help of a toaster oven. 8:35pm: My wife called back to file a complaint. Hoping to get our money back for this appalling excuse for a delivery service. The worker conversation quickly went to management. Management started to argue with my wife! 8:45pm: I took over the call. I said we wanted our money back and he refused. He said that he... as the manager could not give me my money back. I said well if not you then who? Because we clearly didn't get what we paid for. 8:55pm: The "owner" of the Lewiston House of Pizza took the call. I thought finally i can get someone who is actually interested in preserving the integrity of the business... NOPE! He was every bit as ignorant, and uncaring as his manager. It would be one thing if this happened infrequently but it's not a one time thing. This has happened a lot to us alone in the past 5 years and we were really on the fence about whether or not we should even bother to order there anymore. I think it's time we cut or losses short and stopped doing business with them and advise all we interact with to do the same.
But i digress, owners of businesses should be concerned with the integrity of a business and this guy was not in the least bit. I will do my part to make sure this business either stops offering a delivery service, or starts doing it right by telling EVERY PERSON I KNOW how awful the business is run. I work for a telecommunications corporation and let me tell you, the grapevine will hear about this shabby excuse for service, management and ownership. He was so busy defending his $20 pizza order that he failed to look at the big picture. He owns a business and provides a delivery service that he already knows does not get the job done with any degree of customer satisfaction and refuses to do anything about it.
Well, that's your loss. And the hundreds of businesses i interact with will get a little ear worm from me whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Read moreI would give 0 stars if possible! I called at 843pm on a Sunday to place a small order. A girl answered the phone I asked if they deliver to Auburn and she said yes. I started to give my info as she asked and every other things said she would ask me to hold on and then say “what was that?”. Seemed to me she was distracted by something else and not at all concerned or focused on the info I was giving for my order to be delivered. I asked her to make a note for my house as to where I lived. She said fine but they will call if lost. When we finally managed to make it through the deliver info after repeating almost all of it I started the order. I asked for a small pep pizza, I had to repeat that, then I asked for a Large steak bomb pizza with white sauce instead of red sauce, had to also repeat myself for that, then asked for a chef salad. I asked if ham cheese and egg cane on it and she said “umm yea I believe so.... yes yes it does.” After repeating a few things said for the salad she seemed to have the order down. (Also she asked if thatnwas it after each thing I ordered. She did not repeat the order to me nor did she mention a delivery fee for the order! She stayed that it would be there as soon as possible. So I asked about how long. She stated it would be “ 45 min to an hour mab more than an hour and mab less than an hour.” I chuckled and said ok thanks. She called back within 5 minutes letting me know that the salad did not come with egg. I said fine I still wanted the rest of it as long as the salad came with onion pepper and cucumbers. She said yes I believe they do. When we got the food we got a small pep pizza cold, a small steak pizza with no peppers or onions burned steak and Luke warm. The salad came with no peppers! So I was fruious at this point after dealing with a ditzzie fool on the phone the long wait cold food and wrong order I called 3 times. 3rd time A male who sounded mab 18 answers the phone and said we are closed. I asked to speak to a manager and in a rude tone he said he was a manager. I explained my problems and he said well we are busy and do the best we can. Meanwhile cutting me off to try and get me off the phone as soon as possible. He said he would give me 50% off my next order as long as he order was in the next 7 days! I agreed angerly knowing I was not going to get anything resolved just by his time alone. So I will be visiting this horrible excuse for a restaurant tomorrow and trying to resolve my problem further. I do not usually get upset about things such as this but when you pay good money for food and service and it is constantly horrible you tend to get a little discouraged. I have been going to this place for many years and it just seems to get worse and worse over the years. They really should revamp management and employees and try to actually train people who will take a little bit of seriousness to their job! I can not imagine working with such people! Read moreI have been ordering delivery from this place for ten years, sometimes dine in. Any way the food is not quite as good as it used to be but still good. The last couple times we ordered deliver we were disappointed and not pleased with customer service. I ordered 2 steak bombs a plain steak and cheese, and a large pizza. We waited about an hour for the food to get here. Now this food was meant to feed myself my mother, my husband and 4 kids. So when it got here and I began to pull out the subs and saw there was a missing sandwich I checked to see which one it was. There was a missing steak bomb. So I tell my two daughters who were going to share it they could have mine and I would call and have them fix it. So i called and said I am missing a sandwich they said okay we will send that out. I said okay great. Then the young man says I need to make sure its okay with my manager. So I waited. he comes back and says okay my manager says I need to charge you for the sandwhich but she said she can waive the delivery charge. I was like um okay i would not have had to pay two delivery charges if they sent the sandwhich in the first place but I was hungry as well so i said okay fine. Then after a couple minutes I was like no I am not going to pay them another penny for screwing up my order and still not get to eat with my family. I called back and said forget it. That their compromise was no compromise at all and decided I would just have a slice of pizza. I mean i have been spending money there for ten years. They screw up my order and that treat me like waiving a delivery fee I already paid was any type of apology to me, a way to make up for their screw up and the fact that their mistake already was a huge inconvenience. yeah nope.
