ALDI — Local services in Lexington

This was my second time coming to this location my 1st was great no issues. The prices are great the store is clean..so I decided to bring my husband and show him how he should shop there as I will be going back to my home town. once I got to the front to pay my heart broke. I literally left wanting to cry for how rude and mean and disrespectful and vile this women treated my family and my self last night. She THREW all my items really hard on to the cart but before doing that my child was sitting in the cart and she literally said "so what you want me to toss everything on top of her? " A ma'am can u take your child out of the cart because I'm about to toss all ur groceries really hard ..would have been appreciated.Mind you I didn't have much she fit just fine . I asked why she was so aggressive she said they are trained in this manner to go fast mind you their was no lines no one behind us why go fast? what's the rush? I don't get it! I would understand if they are super busy but the store was empty she went on to say they are timed and that's how it is.i refuse to believe this I ask please any manager or any who cares please review the cameras honestly I felt it was something to do with my race. I love shopping at Aldi. I get most of my produce here and all of the food for my child. However, this is my LEAST favorite location by FAR.

The people that work here are SO stressed out, trying to be as fast as possible. I come here with my small child and the female cashiers (I have positive experiences with the male employees I’ve met) have all been so rude to me, rushing me to leave, and hurry to pay and swipe/insert my card while I’m trying my BEST shopping by myself with a small child. Y’all have GOT to do better. Maybe management needs to let up on their quotas or something, because I truly hate coming here with my child. It is so stressful and I hate how disrespectful the employees are to me when it comes time to check out.

With how busy they are, maybe they could be like the Kernersville location and get self checkout so I can check myself...

My daughter just went in there. It's really hot outside. She was walking for work. It takes her around 1 hour 15 min to get to work and then 1 hour 15 back. Her car got wrecked about a week and a half ago so she's waiting on insurance to settle things. She went to buy a water. She got a cold water and was getting in line to pay.
