Hey Y'all, it's your Woman about town, Tanya! Up next, is my review of Fayette Mall(Lexington, KY); but, 1st, a little backstory, for those unfamiliar, with this mall. Fayette Mall was the 3rd,yet, largest indoor shopping mall, in Lexington, KY. The other malls, Turfland Mall(long closed) was the city's 1st indoor shopping mall, located on Harrodsburg Road, in what is now, Home Depot and UK Healthcare. The 2nd Mall was Lexington Mall(long closed), located on Richmond Road, what is, now, Southland Christian Church, North Compass. Fayette Mall opened with Sears Department Store, as the Anchor Store, at the south end of the Mall and Shillito's as the Anchor Store, at the north end Stewart's Department Store kind of like the middle Anchor Store. Sears had, at the time a freestanding, full service, auto repair center. There have been countless renovations, with stores, coming and going, through the years; but, Fayette Mall has endured and evolved, with the times. Fayette Mall is considered the largest mall, in KY, for good reason. Dillard's is the new South Anchor. JC Penny holds the middle and Macy's is the North Anchor. There's an impressive Food Court and plenty of Kiosks offering a little something for everyone. One thing about Fayette Mall, there are plenty of restrooms spread out throughout the Mall. I love they have added Family restrooms, to the mix. The women's restrooms have baby changing stations that are built into the wall, a Major plus, IMHO! The wheelchair stalls are HUGE! There are plenty of whimsical strollers, for parents of small children. In the middle of the Mall, kind of where you're headed to the food court, we'll there is a hugs play area. Hint: it's a great area for parents to decompress, as well, for anyone who shops with small children, in tow🤗 . So, if you're in the mood for shopping or just walking around, Fayette Mall is the place to be. I miss the stores that are no longer there; but, I've embraced the new ones. There really are stores, for everyone, young or old. There are plenty of freestanding restaurants; albeit, connected to the outside of the Mall OR on various parcels of land, of the front parking lot, if you're not in the mood for eating in the Food Court. Oh, btw, there's free Fayette Mall wi-fi, in the Food Court area. I will say that most of the store aisles are easy to navigate; however, the smaller stores are a little bit more difficult. Oh, there are PLENTY of handicap parking spots available, regardless of where you park, around Fayette Mall!

Read moreI like going to the Fayette Mall, they have a lot of really good stores. My kids love to play in the play place and they like to eat in the food court. I like going to the different stores shopping. I also like the vendors that are in located through out the corridors of the fayette mall. I usually go through the different stores and buy my wife gift cards for Christmas. I generally spend about 600 dollars for gift cards for christmas. My wife loves the gift cards, she generally carries them over in to the next year. My son like the flying drones that they advertise in the corridor by the play place. My wife and daughter love bath and body works. I generally get her a 150 dollar gift card for this store. My wife and daughter will come out of this store with bag fulls of lotions and soaps. They use to have a gyro food place in the food court that my daughter loved. She can sit and eat those gyros all day long. The fayette mall is a great place to come to and sit in one of there comfortable chairs that they have placed in the corridor halls and just relax and enjoy the day while your family shops. Great mall. same. If my review helps you in any way can you PLEASE leave me a thumbs up like on my...
Read moreRegis Salon in the Fayette Mall is a joke. I showed Jennifer a very specific picture with a cut and color that I wanted done. She assured me that she would take care of me. My hair had been previously dyed a brownish red and I wanted an ombre turquoise with lavender tips. 1 Jennifer bleached my hair and there were patches that would not bleach due to my hair having already been lifted during the above mentioned earlier dye job, she did not explain that you can not lift already lifted hair and proceeded anyways, with the non bleached patches still visible she then started with the turquoise color which they were out of but she said she could whip something up, the end result was the front being a washed out grayish green with the unlifted hair clearly visible , a band of blue and then the entire back of my head a dark purple. Also she dyed my entire neck purple. The cut is also not what I asked for but it is bearable. Finally I was charged 177 dollars. I will never go back to Regis and I will be telling everyone including posting this review on Google, the Fayette Mall website and ant social media I can find that...
