Hamburg Pavilion — Attraction in Lexington

Upscale area of town (probably one of the wealthier parts of town)- lots of stuff over here. Numerous chain and a few local eateries, book stores, Best Buy, Big Lots, a bunch of shopping areas nearby. Easy to get to from the interstate or the main loop around town. The nicest movie theater in town is here- Regal cinemas with the big reclining chairs, an RPX auditorium, as well as upgraded food options (including a bar with wine, spirits, and beer). There's a Barnes and Noble over here, a Half Price Books, etc. Feels really classy, well maintained, nice walking areas surround the area with what are clearly luxury apartments and condos leading to the main roads.

A $1 theater (Carmike 10) which is being updated and renovated is about a mile or two away from this area as well. Love to spend time over here. Kind of on the other side of town from the mall, so that's kind of a pain, but it's easy enough to get to via the interstate and New Circle Rd. Traffic seems pretty good most of the time as well. Movies: regal hamburg pavilion stadium 16 & IMAX. I love going to IMAX movies. When a movie is played in the IMAX (auditorium 9) it will only run around 7 + or - days usually. So you must pay attention to the Regal website or app so you don't miss the one you want to see. Sadly, movies never get rerun through the IMAX format. I've been going to IMAXes all over the country for 30 years. I love the giant recliners and the double space rows. I love being able to reserve my seat with the Regal smartphone app and skipping the ticket line with a digital ticket on my phone's screen. I prefer the 2D over 3D unless the movie is made well in 3D. I do wish the screen was as large as the original IMAX theatres across the country. I wish the screen was as massive (4 or 5 stories tall) as Pointe Orlando's IMAX, but oh well. We ordered a pizza half & half ,when it came out it looked great . Then the half that should only have 3 ingredients came out with things I can't eat! When I took the slice up and told them it was wrong the 2 boys making it blamed their mess up on other factors that did not exist . They said they would remake it which took WAY longer and the boy brought the very sad over baked replacement to the table and the only thing it was fit for was the garbage can ! I have dietary restrictions so I can't eat certain things ,these 2 boys were insensitive and very flip. I think they purposely ruined the 2ed pizza just like a screw you.
