Taylor Family Orchard — Attraction in Liberty

Such a fun and clean little place! My friend and I stopped in on a VERY hot day. They explained the different trees and let us have at it! No fee to try them right off the tree too. They were such delicious apples and so fresh. The peaches too! We also had a dozen of farm fresh eggs! So excited about that. I love knowing where my food comes from and supporting local businesses rather than big corporations. The owners were so sweet, informative, and hospitable!! The owner welcomed us despite the 90+ degree weather. Walked out to the orchard with us to show us what was ripe, shared about the organic materials used to protect the fruit, and even generously offered fresh fruit for our family to sample.

We spent about 40 minutes and would have stayed longer if not for the heat. We picked blackberries, peaches, and tart apples perfect for applesauce and baking.
