If I could give zero stars, I would. I have been to this thrift store many times. I spend a LOT of money when I come in because I purchase items for my business.
They are pretty well organized and also carry quality items. But I will never be back.
They lie about the time so that you will leave 5-10 minutes before closing and they can hurry with closing duties and leave. If you do not respond IMMEDIATELY to the 15 minute closing announcement, they will come find you and tell you to stop what you are doing - even if you will only be another 10 seconds! (And they are not nice about it either.)
Beyond that, many of the cashiers are disgruntled and CLEARLY do not enjoy their work, whether employed or volunteers (I have no idea which). They talk to you like you are SO stupid.. and worse, in my experience, a cashier threw my items (again, that I purchased for my business and condition is very important) into a box, crushing fragile items. I ask her politely to please not slam them down and she says, "Ugh I didn't." To which I replied, "Yes you did, I watched you. I'm just asking you to please be gentle with the merchandise I just purchased." Her response? "Fine then, just pack the box yourself!" ...and continued to slam my items onto the counter and handling them roughly.
The sad thing is that THIS woman is the reason that my experiences here have been horrible. There are nice employees, I'm sure! But her sheer rudeness to a paying customer, multiple times, is just not worth it.
Every time I leave here, I feel belittled and wonder why I even came in the first place.

Read moreOverall, a great thrift store to come to with solid reasonable prices. We purchased our couch here which cost us $40, have found plenty of quality home wares, clothing and books all for a good price that you'd expected from the thrift store (unlike Savers).
My cons for this store though... They don't offer delivery on large items, but they do pick up items at no cost. They don't let you use the restroom here which is inconvenient for us as our 5 year old always has to go and we end up having to leave and come back. They won't hold items for you if you have to take your child (or yourself) to a nearby restroom. They will hold items if you pay for them first, but you have to pick it up the same day which can be quite inconvenient especially if they're about to close. We've been overcharged here a handful of times. I've seen the workers here refuse to sell items when there is no price tag on them... However, they've charged us for our own items, which yes we accidentally left in our basket when checking out but they didn't have price tags on them. (my husband usually checks out for us so it's partly on him not noticing I know). So I suppose they just pick and choose when it suits them.
Aside from the above points mentioned I do really love this store and it's my favourite thrift store in Liberty. It's cute, well organised and the prices are good. But be aware there are some issues you may run into. Always calculate your cart first before checking out to make sure you're not being...
Read moreIt is SO unfortunate that this store is falling into the trap of thrift store price gouging. I have witnessed on multiple occasions a few of the workers questioning customers because they came to the register with name brand clothing and were concerned that it wasn’t marked up stating “Ohh that’s a mistake. That isn’t priced correctly.” It put the customer in such an awkward position.
It finally happened to me today. I was so excited to find a mug that my family collects! The thrill of the hunt!! I get up to the register and I’m met with “Oh that’s a mistake. That should have a price tag on it.” She then pulled up eBay to show me the comps and said I would need to pay $15-$20 at least. I was so deflated. I have been looking for this mug for almost a year 😔
This was a very disappointing experience. I know their mission and where the money goes. That’s why I typically shop there. But having a customer come to the front with an item and then changing the price of a DONATED item based on perceived value is upsetting and it just...
