Lincoln Habitat ReStore — Attraction in Lincoln

I purchased a vacuum at this store. On the receipt it says you have 30 days to return electrical items if the product isn't working. After using the vacuum I realized that it wasn't picking up lint from the carpet as well as expected. Also was very loud. A hinged compartment that held one of the tools was defected. A person had to struggle to get it closed. So I decided I should return the product since it was still within 30 days. I must say the young man working as a cashier was very friendly and accommodating. He said he would have to have his manager deal with the situation. They were busy so I went around the store to shop. I saw a man a short while later come back with the vacuum. He had taken it back to check the vacuum himself. So I asked him what he discovered. He said the bag wasn't in properly and one of the filters was very dirty. I had checked the bag myself before so one that wasn't the case. Also the filter wasn't bad. When I asked about the broken compartment he said a person just had to wiggle it around a little to get it closed! He did it in front of me and had difficulty! So in other words, I was stuck with a worthless vacuum. At that point I was so upset with him that I knew I had to just walk out of there without the vaccum and take the loss otherwise I would have lost my cool. I have worked retail. They don't seem to want to make customers satisfied. No reason they couldn't have accepted my return with...

Habitat for Humanity has great furniture for insanely low prices. Would highly recommend. The staff is also so kind and helpful. I've purchased multiple large pieces of furniture and each time the staff has helped me cram it into my tiny Prius. They also offer things like paint, tools, hardware, cabinet parts, used microwaves and coffee pots and more. On top of their large selection of couches, chairs of all kinds, dining tables, side tables, and again more. If you are looking for anything to furnish your house, definitely check this place out before buying something new. They don't offer any services to get the furniture to your house since it is a used furniture place. So make sure you can handle it or hire a moving surface. They will also hold the furniture for you for a couple days if you want to pay for it when you find it and need some time to figure...

My son went and made very large purchase there was trying to get a washer and dryer and somehow either a misinterpretation or misguided or something but upon arrival at home he learned he somehow managed to get 2 dryers loaded up so he called and they refused refund or a exchange for the washer but the sure still tried selling him a washer that he thought he already bought was kinda a kick in the teeth and prior to that I was looking at redesigning my house by flipping new furnishings ect but now I am slowing and backing off a bit so I don't wind up in a similar situation so maybe y'all should reconsider your policies since it's not like we are talkin even a week later your talking about the same day. And who knows or really cares just needs to be fixed but wasn't...
