Oak Creek Plants & Flowers — Attraction in Lincoln

Super disappointed with my experience so far. My partner sent me the alluring alstroemeria arrangement to cheer me up from an incredibly trying week. He also included a teddy bear and box of chocolates which looked great. However, the flowers that I received were the exact opposite. When I called to see what could be done about that, I was told that they had only just gotten white alstroemerias and they probably just weren’t opened yet. Why not call the person who ordered the arrangement to tell them this?? I’ve included pictures of what arrived vs what was ordered. They are coming to pick the flowers up to “check the quality” even though they sent them yesterday so I would think they would already know. There’s no way that the person who put together my arrangement thought it was okay. Hopefully they’ll have the correct arrangement on Monday (today is Wednesday). Customer service was not super awesome. The woman I talked to seemed annoyed that I had called and never offered an apology. She made me feel like I was either lying or just an idiot. My son ordered flowers from Oak Creek Flowers, Lincoln, NE for my wife to be delivered on Friday to our home for for Mother's Day. They left a hang tag on our door since we were not home. We called and they were to deliver between 1-4 on sat. They called, running late, would deliver yet that night. They never showed. We left them a message Sunday telling them to leave outside door as we were golfing. No flowers. We called them Sunday late afternoon, the receptionist referred me to "the boss". I expressed our frustration, "we had so many orders, yada, yada. I suggested that considering what all happened they should deliver the order and refund my son the purchase cost. "The boss" stated, "That's not going to happen", and hung up on me. On Monday my wife called and they stated they were cancelling the order and refunding the purchase cost. I don't think that is how one does business. If too many orders, as he claimed, the solution is less orders. You don't hang up on a customer. Very disappointing and no more business...

Don't sleep on Oak Creek flowers for your wedding day!

After getting quotes from numerous places around town, Oak Creek was by far the most competitively priced. Of course, with a great price comes the fear that the product will be inferior — this couldn't have been farther from our experience.

Working with our floral designer, Crystal, was such a delight. I had a very specific idea in my head (which proved to be difficult to execute as most of my inspiration photos turned out to be very expensive silk flowers), but Crystal and her ordering team managed to achieve my "garden, romantic, elegant" style I was aiming for so beautifully and within our budget.

This is a family business that's been around Lincoln for years. Don't be fooled by their website, they are able to create trendy, stylish arrangements and they worked with me over the course of several in person meetings to make sure our florals were everything we wanted and so much more!
