I’m not one to ever write reviews but today is a must. This ones was a 5 star . My family and I have been coming here for years and the last two times we all got told we had to leave because of High School kids fighting. There was plenty of officers there monitoring this kids and they still didn’t hold back from starting problems. It’s so unfortunate that this kids don’t realize that keeping the community away from problems benefits them, now there shutting the park down for everyone and they complain about having nothing to do. Then parents just dropping them off doesn’t help, then they say the cops mistreat my baby, well if you were there Mr Perfect Parents you would have seen your child ,how your child was acting before he was placed in cuffs. I saw Officers talking to kids ,joking around being productive with the community and mentoring them , but you can’t get mad when officers start doing their job when you’re child is ruining everything for the rest of the community ,to the point where they have to shut everything down. It’s extremely unfortunate that now there going to have to start making new laws and rules for this kids when it could have been as simple as act right and everyone will respect you. My opinion is based on what I personally saw and if you don’t agree then you tell me what you feel when you are having a great time with your family and you are told you have to go because people don’t know how to behave. We will have to see how things change before...
Read moreI’ve been visiting this beach for over 10 years. It’s still a nice, clean(ISH) lake beach compared to others within an hour drive. I would give it 5 stars except the last couple of years it’s become extremely overcrowded with all the people moving to Texas. I don’t even really mind that. What I DO mind, is the $10 parking fee, and that doesn’t guarantee a parking spot (and yes, they tell you that). No grills are allowed, you can only use theirs. Even while camping. Yep, you read that right, no frills, even while camping (you can camp for a fee) Cops are patrolling constantly, which you would think is great, except when we came yesterday the cops were literally bugging people doing nothing wrong. There was a girl listening to her music on her phone, barely noticeable at all, and they told her to turn her music off. I don’t get it. I get that radios are loud, but a quiet phone speaker with some light music that’s quieter than speaker conversations around is just ridiculous. I’m talking 2 cops standing above this teen girl, hands on hips, just for music. Like, come on. If you have kids, they’ll have a blast for sure, on the shore, but In the water, watch out for the floating beer cans. Otherwise, a decent place to come spend $10 to laze...

Little Elm Beach offers some of the best walking trails around, combining scenic beauty with a peaceful, outdoor experience. Located right by Lake Lewisville, the trails give you fantastic, unobstructed views of the lake, making it a perfect spot for anyone who enjoys being near the water.
The views of the lake are truly stunning, especially at sunrise or sunset when the water reflects the sky's colors. As you walk, you'll find plenty of shaded spots, open areas, and even benches where you can stop to take in the scenery. The paths are well-maintained and accessible, making them ideal for casual walks, jogging, or even a leisurely bike ride. Parts of the trail are crushed granite and other parts are paved.
One of the highlights of these trails is the serene atmosphere. While popular, the area never feels overly crowded, allowing for moments of quiet reflection as you stroll along the water’s edge. You might spot some local wildlife, from birds to turtles, which adds to the natural charm.
Whether you're a local or just visiting, the walking trails at Little Elm Beach offer a peaceful escape with some of the best lakefront views in the area. A perfect place to unwind and connect with...
