Dollar General — Local services in Little Elm

I don't know why but almost every dollar general store I go in needs an overhaul!! They are dirty, unkept, I don't think anyone knows how to use a broom or mop. You can't get down the aisle because of all these clutter, unopened stock, boxes galore, and don't try to go to the bathroom because you can't get by because of the boxes, clutter and clearance tables. And when and if you do make it in there, it's so filthy you'd a thought it was an old abandoned, and run down place that no one had lived in for years that was maybe being used by homeless people or animals lived there!!! Someone in their corporate office needs to inspect all of these stores and make someone accountable for the way these stores are kept. It's a disgrace!!!!! Have a...

I like this store. Lots of great bargains and it's right in town so not far to get to for me. Years ago there were two nice ladies Brenda and Mary that worked during the day and they always were so friendly to me and my children they became friends along with several other employees. The last few years they have had alot of turnover in staff which saddens me. I really liked the small town they know you by name type place but, overall the deals are still good and I shop there regularly for most anything. Movies, some clothing and shoes, make up, hair no care and accessories, groceries, art supplies, school supplies, some toys, and batteries, etc....

Very rude customer service provided by the cashier who was right next to the manager when we asked him about purchasing products on a blocked aisle. He told us "if you can reach it you can buy it" but wasn't going to left a finger to unblock the aisle or get the items we wanted to purchase. I live right around the corner but won't spend another dime here. No idea why they have 4 stars or who's lying about good customer service. I will drive an additional 10 minutes out of my way to avoid these idiots from this...
