La Azteca — Local services in Little Elm

I'm always on the look out for a good meat market. When this store first opened it sold good meat and had decent customer service. As time has passed I have become beyond disappointed with the entire store. I've let the customer service part slip and continue to return. Today was a whole different experience and will not go back. I ordered 2 lb of carne para tacos from the meat section. The carnicero dug into the meat with no gloves and did not wash his hands before digging in the meat. On top of that.. I noticed he was missing a finger.. Hahaha. Yeah.. that did it for me. The products are very expensive, I don’t recommend shopping here. The selection of fruits and vegetables are limited. The staff that work the deli area tend to be kind and quick with their service. However, I overheard one of the managers speaking badly about their employees. They even engaged in gossip with one of their customers and that’s something that doesn’t sit right with me. Please don’t speak bad about your ex employees, don’t accuse people of being thiefs without proof of some sort. They offered me some seasoning and told me it was on sale then when i get to the register the cashier tells me it's more than what the meat department said it cost. So i had to walk back to talk to the enployee and he told them he told me that and they still wouldnt honor it. They wont see me in there any more i left everything at the cashier and left. that was some of the worse service i ever recieved i will definitely go back to El tapatio meat market in LE from now on.
