The Falls Kitchen — Restaurant in Little Falls

I walked in here on a whim because I’m new to the neighborhood and was hoping to find a great local spot for breakfast walking distance from my house. One of the reasons my girlfriend and I moved to Little Falls, was for the downtown feel. Falls Kitchen checks all of the boxes. The decor reminds me of going to a good NJ diner as a kid. (I’m 34 and while diners are still very much a thing, too many have tried to go corporate or trendy) This place is old school, and in a good nostalgic way, while still being clean, bright, with hot/fresh yummy food. A couple of newspapers on the counter and the signature sound of spoons stirring in ceramic coffee cups. I ordered the falls kitchen burrito which had sausage, onions, and peppers. It tasted freshly made and I was offered hot sauce which was the perfect pairing. Instead of hash browns I opted for oatmeal with cinnamon and raisins, which also tasted fresh made and not just from a packet/instant. Behind the comfort food, the staff was beyond friendly. I made small talk with the manager, and the server made sure my coffee and water were never empty. It seems like a lot of the other guests entering and exiting are locals who the staff knows by name. This is the exact atmosphere and vibe I was hoping to find in Little Falls! I’m sure there are a lot of great restaurants in the area, but Falls Kitchen has a new regular! I can’t wait to bring my girlfriend...

Nestled in a quaint lil strip of Main Ave little Falls, you could literally blow right by the place. I have been around food service and culinary all my life What I experienced when I was there was a bunch of people that ALL seemed to have a passion for and love what they do . Everyone works so seamlessly together. Covering each other . Not a single notion caddiness or unhappy workers . Valerie and Isabelle are a mother a d daughter team that works together like a well oiled machine ...they all do ! The food. The food is prepared fresh. The variety is unsurpassed for most local places. Obviously I am NOT the only one who discovered this Gem.it is always packed on weekends and now you know why ...! Go there , try something You will leave there satisfied and with a smile every time.Every single person there takes pride in waht they Do ! There are Many local regulars who frequent as well .both of those comments kinda says it all...right there ...!😎🤙👍🖖✌🤘🤙😎Yes I was also mildly surprised at the check. A Slammin veggie Ommlette with home fries whet toast an avocado with a bowl of grits and endless free coffee on the side ...19 bucks...

Great breakfast joint! Went here for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The food was eggcelent. I had a egg white veggie burrito that came out piping hot and perfectly made. My dad had the Greek omelette made with eggs whites which tasted fantastic. Both came with home fries that had peppers and onions and also toast with the omelette as well. For those that especially enjoy home fries like I do, you won't be disappointed. I usually prefer the home fries that are cut in cubes, but these were great as well. We also ordered chocolate chip pancakes which was very delicious. Not a big fan of the syrup as much but it did the job. The interior was very dineresque with available counter seating and had plenty of space between tables to make you feel comfortable. The service here was outstanding. Our server was very attentive and friendly and was really on point our whole time there. The young man at the counter was also very welcoming which made for an overall excellent experience.
