Food is hot off the grill and delicious. Well, it's that way every time I come in. Great service, fair price and a home cooked meal away from home.
Stop in today and get down here and have some good tasty home cooked food for once.

Way back burgers rocks. You got to come down and check this out all they got onion rings too. I got all kinds of crazy ways to make hamburgers so you can spice it up and change it up on a daily basis.
You will not feel like you eat the same thing every day ordering from here.

I requested an impossible burger with almost all the fixings with a meal (they didn't ask what side I wanted either). I was told that it came with the other topping s and that my additions were all that was needed. (It apparently it wasn't true as I received only the additions). After sitting down I noticed that we hadn't even asked for dining in or not. After waiting the staff member who assisted me approached and said they were out of impossible burgers. I told the staff member I realized there was a price difference and that I would the Cajun tatter tots and that the garden burger would be an OK substitute. I mention wanting it cut in half as my partner had requested the same. (Theirs was and mine was not). While waiting a pedestrian opens the door and requests that they add ice melt outside (water from the roof had collected as a patch of ice on the ground). The employee nearest the door kind of waved him off as he stood there expectantly. He then walked away after no communication occurred. My food then arrived no fries, half the toppings, not cut in half. I payed extra for a basic experience and didn't even get everything I requested. We finish dining shortly after receiving our order.
It is clear to me that your staff are not payed well enough or trained well enough. Your training of your people during peak curbside pick up hours seems unfair to the employee trying to learn.

Read moreSo I had only had Wayback burger through grub hub and I think I’m gonna keep it that way. I LOVE their burgers and milk shakes. The onion rings were meh…so so. But it was the HORRIBLE customer service I received while I was there, and if I could give it less than one star I sure would, but one star is the lowest rating I can give it. So I went into the restaurant with my service dog went to the counter placed my order. The lady who took my order I don’t know her name, but she was the older black woman who works there, said “sir if that’s not a service dog you’re gonna have to wait outside for your food” I told her it was indeed a service dog. She said OK and apologize and I sat down at the table with my milkshake and my dog. Now my dog is the friendliest dog in the whole world so The ladies at the table next to us asked to pet her and I told them that was ok. So a few minutes later the lady brought out my food in to go bag and informed me that “next time the dog will have to wait outside” I told her again that she was a service dog and told her I have an ID for her and asked if she would like to see it. And she said no and then commented “you let people pet your service dog?” I responded why wouldn’t I? There’s no rule against people petting the service dog. It’s just courteous of them to ask to pet a service dog. It is just beyond me that a customer service person would be like that. I confirmed that she was a service dog and that should’ve been the end of it. I will not be returning for in person dining here, but I do love...
