I luv a bargain and I do not find particular joy in clothes shopping. So I try to maximize my time, energy, and dollars when I do. With that in mind, I planned a shopping excursion out to the San Francisco (SF) Premium Outlets. I purposely did not go on a weekend. I did that to avoid the crowds and lack of sufficient parking. Overall my first ever experience at the SF outlets was a success ... I survived! I was able to purchase clothes, in my hard to find size, at bargain prices.

These outlets include a good mix of brands (designer , luxury, and mid-range). The luxury brands include Versace, Salvatore Ferragamo, Burberry, Prada, Tory Birch, Zegna... just to name a few. There was a food court and food stalls scattered about the outlet.

The outlet is beautifully designed and landscaped with art sculptures and plants; adding to a more pleasant shopping environment.

But my gripes are the parking lot and the lack of janitorial staff. The parking lot has only one exit/entrance. The flow of traffic gets logged jammed and it becomes the Wild West of line merging. Regarding the janitorial needs, I spent practically the entire day at the outlet and do not recall seeing any janitorial staff. The women's restroom closest to the food court was atrociously dirty and got more so during the day. Trash bins were overflowing and there was a strong sewage smell. The other restrooms were not as worse, but not clean either and less likely f a strong odor. Plus the food court dining area was a hot mess as well. Tables needed to be cleared...

This shopping center is wonderful except just one thing. First, this center is well organized and very clean. There are plenty of parking spots and toilets are available. The companies in this shoping center are famous, and well stablshed in America. Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, and Tony Burch are just a few of them. Unfortunately, these companies and others do not make their products in the USA. In 1960 about 95 percent of clothes purchased in the USA were made domestically, now it is about 2 percent of clothes purchased in America actually made in the USA. And this is highly disturbing. There are companies like Karen Kane, Michael Stars, Taylor Stitch, AMVI Collection, Buck Mason and many others that are not in this shopping center. And, what all they have in common is a good quality of their products and that they all make their products only in the USA. This shopping center is a marvelous place to spend time, shop and meet new people. However, anyone who would like to support small businesses in America should consider shopping from alternative companies as well. Hopefully, the owner of this shopping center will attract at least a few companies that make their products exclusively in the USA. If i would like to travel to any other country, i would prefer to give a gift to someone that would clearly show the country i came from, "...

Urgent Safety Concerns at San Francisco Premium Outlets

I visited the San Francisco Premium Outlets at 2774 Livermore Outlets Dr, Livermore, CA, on a Saturday evening around 7:30 PM. While the posted closing time is 8 PM, we were shocked to find that the security team had already set up barriers, including barbed wire, preventing both entry and exit.

It is absolutely unacceptable and unsafe to close off exits before the official closing time. Not only were many shoppers still inside, but the security had funneled everyone into a single entrance. This is a major safety hazard. In the event of an emergency, such as an earthquake, fire, or active shooter situation, blocking off exits prematurely could have catastrophic consequences.

Businesses should prioritize the safety of their customers, and this situation demonstrates a lack of concern for that. The barbed wire or any barriers should not be set up until after 8 PM or after all customers have safely exited the premises. I strongly urge management to review and revise this policy immediately to avoid a potentially dangerous situation in the future.

Overall, this was a very alarming experience, and I hope the management takes immediate action to ensure the safety and well-being of...
