La Fiesta — Restaurant in Logansport

The food was decent. It tasted very "Americanized". I ordered chicken tacos on corn tortillas with cilantro & onion, it was barely tasteful. My husband ordered a chicken burrito. The inside was completely smothered in avocado & the burrito itself was falling apart so badly, my husband had to continue eating it with a fork. The rice, beans, chips, & salsa all taste like they whipped out a can/bag from Walmart. The service was incredibly awful. Once our food was served (which took close to 45 minutes, when we were second people seated), we never saw our waitress again. I needed a refill & continually tried to get a waitresses attention, but was to no avail. At the end of our meal, another waitress asked if we needdd anything (when we were clearly already finished eating). Price was decent. Perhaps, they were having an off day, I understand that, if so. Great place to get supplies for that family bbq, also delicious food. The meat prices are decent and the chorizo is the best in town, I mean it. However, the prices on veggies and regular imported items are pricey, some kind of a lot. Not a budget-friendly place. Now if you need some basic imported items like salsa and all Mexican things go to D & R the prices are better there. For meat and special cuts, this is the place. Now, why the 4 stars: the guys are awesome, the restaurant is next to the store, chips, and salsa is 2.50 for a bag of delicious chips. The service was extremely slow and the place was almost empty so no excuse for slow service. The floor looked like it had not swept all day. From the time we arrived until the waitress took our order was 35 minutes. Had to ask twice for chips for our guacamole appetizer. The when our dinner finally came about 45 minutes later it was cold except for the refried beans which had the consistency and taste of warm water. And we had to ask for silverware and napkins because the servers were completely clueless. The food was all very tasteless. When gave up and went to the register to pay there was a customer standing by the register waiting for two burritos he had ordered to go before we had even put our order in!
