Darna Furniture is a dishonest company which presents products in good fashion in their store, but delivers poor quality items. On November 21, 2021 two men from Darna Furniture arrived to deliver several items that I ordered a week prior. The items they brought into my home had multiple pre-existing scratches and additional damages. The back panel of a desk was cracked and not fully painted, a cabinet had several bolts attached to it; mostly used for decoration.. however the bolts were clearly different sizes, that same cabinet had an uneven bottom thus was wobbly and could have fallen over at any second if not laid flat. I could continue with several defects to each of their products, along with the photos to prove it. The last one caused me great concern as I have infant grandchildren – that wobbly 6foot cabinet could have crushed any of them due to its poor manufacturing. During the delivery, the two men were not equipped properly for the job. One of the gentlemen was complaining about back problems and visibly was not physically fit to lift or carry the heavy items. As a result, the items I purchased left two substantial scratches in my hardwood floor. The list goes on and on, and I have the photos and the dates they were taken, of each item. Furthermore, I was rushed to sign off the papers so the delivery men can continue their route. I was not giving proper time to examine the pieces that were delivered, but I contacted the store manager during the delivery. I called the store and spoke to an associate. She informed me that this would be taken care of, and the manager would reach out the following day. When I hadn’t heard from the manager, I followed up over the phone and thankfully the manager answered. The manager insisted that he will take care of the problem and get back to me. I simply wanted to return the incredibly damaged furniture and receive items in good condition… a very fair request. Since my initial conversation with the manager, every attempt to speak with them since has been ignored. A few days after the delivery, I contacted my credit card company requesting they dispute the charges from Darna Furniture due to the situation at hand. Over two years later, I still have this damaged furniture sitting in a corner of my home taking up space… waiting for Darna Furniture to TAKE RESPONSBILITY for their damaged products, pick them up, and provide me with the reimbursement that I am owed. I look forward to read what the manager and owner of Darna Furniture have to say in regards to this situation.

As I mentioned in the updated review, the order date of 11/21/21 is correct. This behavior, immediately claiming I am a scam instead of inquiring on my order number or asking me to email/call for direct communication is part of the problem. I also wonder what criteria was used to "find my order in the system" if they don't have my full name or the exact amount I was charged. Seems very suspect. The BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU (BBB) also found themselves struggling to connect with the manager or owner of Darna Furniture - Darna Furniture 100% ignored the BBB, similar to how they are ignoring it again here via Google Review.
I am still eager to hear from the manager or owner on this matter as it's OUTRAGEOUS that they have totally ignored this entire situation... a situation I again state where I have photos and timestamps from the exact day of delivery.
