Burnin Mouth Yorktown — Restaurant in Lombard

So first if you haven’t tried the Coo Coo Chicken Sandwich at Burning Mouth, you have no idea what you are missing. I am not joking. The best around. Great fried chicken breast, tasty tasty sauces (it doesn’t have to be hot), Cole slaw, pickles, brioche bun, it’s wet and juicy but not too wet and juicy. I want one right now!

Fantastic place, hope being in the mall isn’t too restricting, hope they are doing well, great product!! Oh and super consistent. Every sandwich is the same quality! I float between Good (Jalapeño) and Ugly (Habanero) but it goes milder and still super delicious. That’s the only thing I will say as constructive criticism. The naming is confusing with Good and Ugly. Those don’t describe heat level well. But who...

I was wandering around the food court and came upon the Burning Mouth. They had free samples - but not the spicy one. I asked the person working if they had any spicy samples and he went back to the kitchen. He brought one back with an authentic smile. The chicken was GOOD. My girlfriend tried the non spicy one and loved it! We ordered two skewers and the person put an extra piece of chicken in our containers for my gf since the chef said it was a little smaller than mine.

Friendly, thoughtful, and positive service. Great food! I don't write reviews often but the very fast (but positive) experience left me wanting to share...

Based on service alone - Just ordered with my husband and service was awful. They forgot to put in our order! My husband was literally waiting standing INFRONT of the cashier for 20 MINUTES, while we were both juggling 2 babies. He said "sorry we'll put the order in, would you like a free drink or something?" Uhm no, I would've liked my food!! Did you not see my husband standing infront of you for 20 mins while you handed other people their orders who came after us?
