Eco Coffee — Restaurant in Long Beach

While visiting my non-coffee-drinking sister in LBC a few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to indulge in a daily drink from Eco Coffee for about a week and a half! I bounced between their iced americano and cold brew, both of which were superb, and splurged once on an espresso-based smoothie. If the solid drinks and vibe weren't enough, as one customer described it, "the Cheers of Long Beach" provided a welcome place for my work meeting, some light and engaging social time, and casual entertainment from Pete's mental Rolodex of every repeat customer that came in. This is a great little coffee shop. They have good drip coffee, blended drinks, espresso drinks, gambocha (or whatever the hell that stuff's called), pastries and live entertainment from time to time. Downside is the parking lot is tiny and services other businesses and it's hard to get in and out of and it's awkward to maneuver in and I've seen dozens of near misses as I drive by it. Also, it's TINY!!! Hardly any seating inside and a few benches outside. I don't know if there is WiFi, I've never tried to use it. The owners are really friendly and know their coffee very well. Despite the parking and the cramped space, it's definitely a must try if you're in the area and you love...

Very good coffee, the staff is great (as long as they are there). We used to come here almost every Saturday morning, a nice walk on the park then a very good coffee but the inconsistency with the wait times became really annoying. It was very evident that management struggled to make sure staff showed up on Saturday mornings and sometimes it took over 20 minutes to get 2 drinks. I still come every once in a while (afternoons during weekdays, when I know they are slow) because their product is very good but we don’t go on Saturday mornings anymore... hard to justify over 20 minutes wait time...
