Simply put, this place is amazing for breakfast. I have had a lot of breakfast in alot of places, and this has easily and quickly become my favorite. I am a little sad that it took me so long to eat here and I honestly didn't have high expectations, but I couldn't have been more wrong. We tend to come here on Sunday during what I call the Church rush which is between 10-12 and yes there is a wait, but they flip tables so fast, I have never had to wait longer than about 10 minutes, which is completely acceptable given how good the food and service is. The chicken fried steak is now my favorite menu item and pretty much the only thing I get now. It's pretty good. Large portions and cooked right. Most places fail with gravy for breakfast, but the gravy here which to me is required for a good chicken fried steak, is above great. It's some of the best I have had in Colorado. The Omelets are great, pancakes, eggs, pretty much everything. The only downside thus far is with the waffle and hash browns. The waffle was pretty bland and lacked flavor I would expect in a waffle, and the hashbrowns suffer from the standard problem most breakfast places have in making something in bulk. They are undercooked inside and crisp on the outside. However, there is the option to have them drop them in the frier which turns them into little crispy shoestring fries, which is great when making your own trashcan lid meal, other than that, I have never had any bad food. The staff is always friendly and polite. You Are greeted with a smile start to finish and given the volume of people, the wait staff is very attentive in things needed like coffee top offs or more to drink. Several people will help to clear table when you're done with something or be happy to get you whatever you need. This is really a classic American diner with all the staples that made them great. I highly recommend you stop in and give them a try. Don't be overwhelmed by the amount of people or the wait. You won't wait long and the food is fantastic.

A friend took me to Longmont on vacation. The next morning we dined in Goodfella’s the first waitress was Lisa. The second morning Brandi was are waitress. The last day dining Jessica was are waitress. Everyone was fantastic, honey they kept checking on us my coffee stayed full. When asking for a cup of hot water my first visit I was amazed how even the gentleman clearing the tables remembered me bringing me a cup of hot water my last visit. The food was delicious “Thank you to everyone involved in the back of the house “. My next visit indeed I’m coming back for a fantastic meal and service. Before leaving my eyes caught the cinnamon rolls in the display case along with the pies it’s a must my next visit. Forgot to take photos first time dining of my visits couldn’t wait to start eating managed to take a couple “Philly cheese sandwich and fries 😋 had to dip my sandwich in the next photo, both was delicious.

Came down from the mountains after hiking all day so we were starving and diner food sounded good, this was the first place that popped up and had great reviews. We walked in and we weren’t even greeted, there was an employee sitting on the bench and we literally stood there for 2 min before she even acknowledged we were there. She stood up, grabbed a few menus (didn’t even tell us to follow her) threw them on the table and said here you go then walked away. Great start 🙄 but then our actual server showed up and she was terrific! Super nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Food was great, my son got the stack of pancakes and I got the chicken fried steak. Highly recommended this place for a good home cooked meal and if you happen to get a rude host don’t let her ruin your experience. The employees who actually care will surely make up for it.

This was my second time going here. The first time my mother and I both agreed that we'd never go back. Well.... Today we decided to give it another chance. Figured since it's been a few years and they boast having "best breakfast in town" we'd give it a shot. Bad idea.

All of these 5 start reviews are HIGHLY questionable. I honestly can't believe any person would give that high of a rating. Have y'all never gone to eat at a good restaurant before?

She ordered chicken fried steak. Gravy is completely flavorless, other than the hint of flour. Either it is from a package or made with very poor cooking skills and ingredients. The eggs were very under cooked (not over medium as ordered). The "butter" served with pancakes tasted like nothing. How is that possible? The hash browns weren't even good. How do you mess up potatoes? Maybe try using a little bit of salt in the cooking process.

I ordered the ultimate breakfast burrito. More like ultimate disappointment. The green chili has very little flavor. Also tastes like it's from a can...or made by people with poor skills and poor ingredients. The gravy only, further, took away from the little bit of flavor in chili. The same flavorless hash browns in the burrito. Eggs that were severely over cooked and dry. Then we get to the "steak" that I paid 1.50 extra for. It is NOT steak, as you would assume. It is shaved Philly meat. Certainly not worthy of paying extra for. It was dry and flavorless, other than the taste of low quality meat. Is the pattern becoming clear, yet? Haha

I eat out very often and I'm known to be a pretty good "chef" in the kitchen. Very rarely do I leave reviews. However, this was absolutely one of the worst breakfast meals I have EVER had. Literally EVERY other breakfast spot in Longmont is considerably better. Even Perkins. I won't name drop, because that might make it seem like I'm not giving honest review. But I assure you that this is %100 honesty. I am actually holding back some things I want to say.

Moral of the story is... If you have taste buds, or enjoy a good meal with quality ingredients and flavor; this is NOT the place to go. I won't be coming back and I'll steer anyone who asks for recommendations for places to eat FAR away from this place.

I wish no ill will upon the owners. But highly suggest stepping up your game. Not sure how you have repeat customers, but more power to you for somehow staying in business as long as you have....

I've been to Goodfella's about a dozen times now and I absolutely love it. Mon-Fri mornings they offer a $4.99 Steak and Eggs combo which, based on the price alone, you can't find a better deal in town. The atmosphere is great and the service is excellent. Most of the servers are young and upbeat and they provide great conversation and really make you feel like you are part of the Goodfella's family. Since I've become somewhat of a "regular" there, I never have to tell the servers what I want to drink or what my preference for the temperature of my steak is as they have come to know it by heart, which adds to the experience there...

As a new business in the Longmont area it has been extremely successful, and I really appreciate small business owners in the local area. The owners (father and son) have both talked to me on numerous occasions and there presence is known there as they are constantly going around checking on customers and making sure everything is going well, even taking time out of their busy day to sit down and talk to you, which again adds to the experience of eating there. Its the little things that matter and the staff at Goodfella's makes takes the extra time to make your trip there a memorable one.

The food is very good, and it comes out very quickly. I once had my breakfast come out in less than 4 minutes, and on that day I was in a hurry to get to work and was amazed at the speed at which food was coming out of the kitchen even though it was relatively busy. They continuously offer great specials at great prices and with breakfast, lunch and dinner served all day it is a great place to go, no matter what kind of food you are in the mood for.

Overall I would recommend this place to anyone in the Longmont, Boulder and surrounding areas. Great food, exceptional service, and a great atmosphere make it a place that I will frequent many times in the future.. 5...
