We recently had Carpet Exchange replace our carpet to wood. We started off emailing Jonathan (the store manager) about setting up a time to come in and review the products. Jonathan stopped responding to our emails so we ended up going into the store to find someone else to help us. Upon going into the store, we had a great experience with another employee who was super helpful and professional. She provided us a quote and setup the time for the installer to come out and measure. A few days later, we got an email from her saying that since Jonathan was in contact with us first, she was handing us back to him to deal with is. Fast forward to the install day. Guy came out and installed the flooring. Project went well until the end of the day when he indicated that his mis-measured and that he ran out of flooring and would have too order additional floor and come back out and finish. He said Jonathan would be in contact with us. Again not to our surprise, Jonathan never called us. We had to call the store and ask for an update of the order and re-schedule date. Jonathan was unprofessional and rude with us and acted like we were an inconvenience to him. He also stated that he would "compensate" us for all the problems and inconvenience that was caused. A few weeks go by and Jonathan finally calls and says the product had arrived and that the installer would be contacting us to come out and finish. We again asked about the "compensation" that Jonathan promised us and he responded "yeah give me until tomorrow to look into it, I'm busy today". Installer came out and finished the job. The install was fantastic. He took his time, cared about home and the floor looks great. As for Jonathan, it's a shock that he's actually a Manager. He wasn't professional at all during the process and will tell everyone in the future that if you go to that store, DO NOT work with him. In addition, we're STILL waiting on the "compensation" he promised that I'm sure will never see. We hope you see this Jonathan and learn to treat your customers better in the future. You were the only reason the experience wasn't an...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI cannot speak highly enough of everyone at Carpet Exchange in Longmont, from management, to the sales staff and the installers. I initially made a significant mistake in ordering a shade of flooring that was way too dark for the rooms in my house ( my own mistake and bad judgement- note to self- never buy flooring without first taking a sample home to check in your own home first). When the installers arrived to fit my new floor and after they had moved all the furniture and hauled out the carpets, I was horrified to find I hated the color of the LVP I had chosen when they started to place it on the floor. I was almost in tears thinking I was just going to have to live with flooring that I hated! The guys were very patient and gracious as I called Carpet Exchange and spoke with the manager John who was extremely tolerant and graciously agreed to accept return of the LVP and allow me to select another color. The installers put all my furniture back and tried to make me feel better, regardless of their wasted morning. From there, John and my sales customer service advisor Sarah helped me on the mission to find the LVP color that I had envisioned and they were reassuring without hesitation, that their ultimate priority was to make sure I was happy with my purchase. After taking MANY samples home to try in the lighting of my own home , I found the perfect floor. The installers came out again yesterday, as cheerful as ever for ā take 2 flooring installā and I am absolutely in love with my new floors. Thank you so much to all in Carpet Exchange with a special shout out to Sarah, John and Smilie the installer. I will be back in the new year to choose carpets for the rest of the house and Iāll be sure to take samples home this time to try before I buy ! š¬ Excellent customer service where the customerās satisfaction is the priority, pricing, timeliness of ordering /arrival of the products, then professional timely fitting, I recommend Carpet Exchange...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOverall not a great experience. We picked a tile we liked and asked about their installers. The woman we worked with said they had a hard time finding good ones, but were having good luck with the current one they were using. We scheduled a time for the contractor to come out and look at our floor. He couldn't come for a week, then when the time came he didn't show. We called the store several times. When we finally got through the woman working said they were working in Boulder and were running late, but then no one called or showed up. We tried calling back the store several times but no one picked up. We left a message. We heard from the contractor the next day who said he could come after the weekend. To make a long story short, the contractors assistant showed up acting like he didn't want the work. They gave us an estimate that was far higher then other ones we got (our floor job was 135 sq. feet and they said 160). I emailed the original woman to ask if we could get the tiles we had picked out but she hasn't even bothered to let us know, so we found tiles elsewhere and a contractor who is doing an excellent job at a fair price. We won't be going there for other floor jobs we...
