AMC Longview 10 — Attraction in Longview

OMG, they are finally renovating the AMC movie theater behind Longview Mall. It is freaking Awesome. All the seats are brand new...&.... they are all motorized recliners. We had an amazing experience there tonight. Just incredible, extremely comfortable, plenty of room. I have been sending messages to the corporate AMC for a while now, telling them they desperately needed to renovate over here in Longview Texas.... especially the bathrooms!!! They haven't done the bathrooms yet, but I look forward to seeing what they end up doing with them... anything's an improvement!! We had literally quit going to the movies for years because it got too ridiculously expensive.😝 Finally someone intelligent person figured out if you make it more economical for everyone ,...you'll get more business💝 ( GEE.... what a concept,... 💡 too bad more companies aren't that smart!! THEY are too greedy to care about customer service & satisfaction.) (Sorry ,I had to throw in some of my typical sarcasm😂) You save Megabucks, if you become an AMC Stubs premier member, $15.00 annually ( right now it's only $10.00 until March 31st 2019, because they give you $5 credit after you sign up,...Which we were able to use the same night we signed up . You get $5 credit every time you spend $50 with the STUBS PREMIERE MEMBERSHIP along with many other perks. Just to give you an idea how much money you save... it keeps track of your savings as long as you're a member. Since 2017 we've saved $442.67 with just me & My daughter in reward credits. Also, buy the Annual popcorn bucket...We are on our 3rd one.It's $20 initially for the annual popcorn bucket, then only $4.49 every time you bring it to refill after that. So worth it,... Regular priceis like $8 & some change for a large popcorn anywhere you go. The annual $20 popcorn bucket pays for it self quickly😁💝💝💝💝 We haven't been to any other movie theater since AMC came to Longview Texas. They must listen to their customers, eventually... because I have been telling them they need to renovate , especially the bathrooms in this particular theater for a while. If you haven't been yet,... you're going to FALL IN LOVE with going to the movies again!! ...

The people who work here are so nice very helpful and understanding. Took my kids to their first ever movie minecraft. I booked my seats wrong they fixed it for me. Even went in and asked if one person would move one seat down so I could be by my children. Super helpful only thing I didnt like was every 5 or 10 mins some big nerd group was cheering in the movie when they heard a character name or certain things or claping when it was literally unnecessary. Kind of ruined our experience my kids kept asking me why they was doing it and each time I just said I dont know. After the movie I asked the workers did they sell something in the gifts that made them do that or was there something we all missed where everyone was suppose to cheer clap at random times. they said they didnt know why and I didnt want to leave the movie with my kids to get someone to get this big group of 30 or so to stop. I do wish the staff would have paid more attention to this loud group or checked in more often on an open night of a new movie. They did offer me movie passes for the inconvenience maybe I'll call the manager tomorrow and talk about that. I had to get out of there was way past my kids bedtime. As we got a later movie cause everything was so booked up. I just didnt have time to take care of it right then so i just said no thanks. but in my opinion as it is a nice gesture. Amc cant control everyone who wants to ruin things for others like loud noises and stuff it does suck cause total cost was over 100.00 for everything but my kids and I did watch the movie sadly with all the loud outbursts. **edit I bumped up my rating a star since AMC's customer complaint department communicated well with me and were kind enough to give me two free movie tickets for my experience. However, when I went to see the new Garfield movie with my sister, they were still out of a lot of product. This time they didn't even have coke products. They had popcorn, but it was a bit on the salty side. The floors were still messy and one of the recliners didn't work. Maybe some new management would turn this place around. Until then, I'll just wait for that new theater in Longview to open up.

I love this theater (and I may change my rating later on), but I was very disappointed today :(

We went to see Inside Out 2 and they were out of everything at the concession stands. Popcorn, most soda flavors, icee, nachos, most candies.

Just as previews were about to end, I decided to check and see if they had popcorn yet since the girl at the front said since the truck had arrived, they might start popping soon. When I got there, of course they were still out, but what bothered me was that the girl said to her coworker that it makes her day to tell people that they're out of stuff. I said "it makes your day?" and she said "yeah". Even if she was joking, it wasn't great to hear since I was looking forward to having a full movie experience.

Plus, the movie theater floor itself was still messy from the last showing.
