I just left this garden center, with the intention of purchasin a number of larger plants to update my landscaping. A woman on the phone held a 30 minute conversation, not even acknowledging my presence. Another woman came to the counter and finally asked me if I needed help. I asked her a question about a Fushia plant. She pointed in the direction to walk and exclaimed to me, -I have to help tbese others, hehind you first. " I went to find the plant, walked around and stayed there a total of 50 minutes. I began to think about a transaction a few years ago of about $800, that I didn't know I could sign up for a membership. I only found out about it the following time when someone else was encouraged to join. Clearly the total lack of good customer service for all people is only provided to those whom they deem important and deserving of...

We love Armstrong Garden. This one is really big and they have everything and the people to help you.

The place has free parking. The service is just great. Now, it can get a little crowded on the weekends, so we go during the week. We get more of our succulents there.

We also love all their annuals. They are kept so nice and some are just lovely.

They also have small trees, and whatever you might need to garden, from potting soil to all types of vitamins for your trees and flower beds.

They have a really nice selection of milkweed, but be careful, if it is not native, it must be cut first and sterilized or you will end up killing your butterflies.

They have great roses and we love their house plants.

Almost everything you need is there. They...

Cool place to pick up a few things. The staff, no fault of their own, needs more training. It would be great if Armstrongs did events here that were informative to help out their staff as well as the community. Bring in some experts to talk about soil, soil nutrition, soil biology, growing plants. Take an example from Laguna Nursery. I study a lot about agriculture and like employees you see at places like home depot, the employees often give not so great help or misinformation. The workers here are nice, kind people, it would be great to allow them opportunities to grow and learn. Most people like to learn and it would really benefit the customers...

Armstrong garden centers are always a great experience. I could not recommend this place enough for good quality plants at reasonable prices. Lots of varieties and most plants come with guarantees so if it happens that the plants are faulty you can exchange them. They also have a selection of indoor plants which is in much cheaper prices than most indoor plant places in LA which tend to be more boutique-style. I would’ve loved if they had a little better customer service. It’s hard to find someone to ask questions and when you do they’re often not very happy to do so.

Lovely local nursery with knowledgeable and friendly employees. A great variety of indoor and outdoor plants, all incredibly healthy looking and better prices than most spots I've been to. Ditch the big box garden centers and support a local shop with better plants! Also a great variety of pots, planters, and outdoor decor. Expect to find some items and plants you may not have seen before.

Armstrong is THE place to go year round for any garden or landscaping needs. Wide selection of plants and products and a very nice, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Layout is easy to explore and shop. Plenty of on site parking too !
