Cicilia the property manager is beyond rude! She is friendly before booking but doesn't care about your experience after that!!! She totally ignored my emails, texts, and calls just not to return the deposit money!!!
Black Mold Infestation on the windows. My other 4 friends and I stayed on their property in Santa Monica, CA from December 26th to 29th, 2017. We all started experiencing bad headaches and my friend’s Asthma was flaring up. Unfortunately, we noticed black mold on windows on the last day of stay. If we knew it, we would have never stayed there.
One of the knobs on the stove was not aligned, so it leaked gas all night. All stove knobs are in “off” position when they are up vertical, but one of the knobs had to be set 30 degrees from vertical to be in “off” position. We are beyond lucky that the place didn’t explode because of the gas leakage. We noticed the smell in the morning, and rapidly opened the windows and doors so the gas can get out.
Live Luxe Lied on the Property’s Page about Free Private Parking On properties Page, under Outside Amenities, it mentions “Private Parking” next to “Balcony”. They never mentioned that you have to pay $20/night for private parking when you want to check in and get the keys. This is very confusing, and you feel like being ripped off.

SCAM! Live Luxe is a horrible management company. Not only did they false advertise the size and style of their rental units on AirB&B but upon arrival my rental unit was extremely dirty, had a unique stench, I found a human tooth laying in the middle of the bathroom floor and boogers smeared on the bathroom walls (I have plenty of photos to share) but on top of ALL of this Live Luxe has the nerve to say I damaged a door in their "penthouse" that was already damaged upon my arrival and is refusing to return my security deposit. Live Luxe demands a security deposit when you arrive at their office (20 minutes away from the rental unit) to pick up the keys (cost me an additional $50 in cab fee's just to pick up a key). They do not disclose this in any of their advertisements, property descriptions or check-in information. When asked why Live Luxe wouldn't collect the security deposit through AirB&B they stated AirB&B wouldn't allow them to collect a deposit through the website. Which is a lie as I've booked many places on AirB&B and had to pay an additional security deposit through the site.
I do NOT recommend saying at any of Live Luxe's units. I believe I was scammed by this company out of my of security deposit and was over charged for a undersized and dirty apartment.

TL;DR (Ruby Maison in New Orleans) -delayed check-in because of company's poor communication (check-in supposed to be at 3pm) -cleaning ladies lounging around in apartment at check-in (2 sitting on couch, 1 sleeping in closet) -apartment not finished with cleaning until 9PM and was still dirty (check-in was at 3pm) -no clean towels until after 9pm -locked out of apartment at 1am (given wrong set of keys-- 1 of 2 sets worked) -key issue wasn't settled until next day at 2pm -apartment DID NOT FEEL SAFE!!! company's representatives let themselves into apartment while we were staying in it!! -no hand soap in bathrooms and not enough toilet paper -company REFUSED TO REFUND 1st night's stay and cleaning fee (apartment was not ready until 9pm, was still dirty, and not fully stocked)
