Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Where to begin? The only reason I keep coming here is for two reasons. 1. My wife thinks this place is better than literally any other wing place. It’s not but that’s neither here nor there. 2. It’s the only BWW that’s not in a sketchy area or in a bad side of town.

The food is either hit or miss here. It’s a miss more often than not. Mozzarella sticks aren’t cooked all the way through, which suggests the microwave needs a raise. The sauce on the wings is so scarce I’m beginning to think y’all can’t afford any more. And you’d think that the quality of the food would at least mean that it comes out quick but it almost always never does.

The atmosphere kinda sucks but that’s no one’s fault.

The service is the worst part. This hasn’t happened once or twice, this experience happens 9/10 times I’m there. You enter the restaurant and there’s always 2-4 employees doing good knows what (except helping customers) behind the to-go counter, laughing their a**es off just having a grand good time looking at me standing awkwardly waiting to be seated. Then after they notice me getting impatient, they’ll get quiet and one of them will grab a couple menus and seat me and my party. Then the waiter pulls a page out of my dad’s book and becomes impossible to get ahold of! I’m waving and yelling and somehow I can’t get them to look over at me. I spend most of my time waiting on the god damned server because they won’t come over. Server always has this “I’m tired” look their face whether the restaurant is full or empty. This lack of service happens whether or not the restaurant or full or empty. The worst part? The only time servers have this happy attitude or seem like they genuinely enjoy their job (I understand they don’t and why but it’s not my responsibility to make them feel welcome, they accepted a job where it’s their responsibility to make customers feel welcome) is when they’re returning my credit card with the bill so I don’t forget to tip.

BEWARE: LOCATION CLOSED BY HEALTH DEPARTMENT JULY 2019 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. News covered on the national network news starting with the NBC nightly news with Lester Holt. That was the incident about the rat falling through the roof onto the table of the diners. That might have been due to construction the center is undergoing, but the overall cleanliness of the place that was always lacking, as evident in the bathrooms, is enough evidence for me that the closure was all about Buffalo. And there’s Buffalo’s floors that seem always littered with food. Did anybody ever think to sweep the dining floor during business hours?

But this was a long time coming with Buffalo wild wings at Howard Hughes. I’ve been there enough to know that the waiters let the patrons get too drunk and the bathrooms and restaurant floors are always filthy. I stopped going. So it doesn’t surprise me they shut this place down.

The overall problem was management: they are terrible! They let employees let their patrons get drunk, they let the place get dirty when open, and they let former employees come and fraternize with working employees and customers. I sat at the bar one day to realize another guy sitting there worked there and knew everybody. At least he seemed to know everyone who worked there. And he’s been there more than once! I don’t know all the employees and I certainly don’t hang to have conversations with them. What the hell was he doing there? That’s like quitting a job and going back to hang out at the office! Very unprofessional!

Move on to another location or go to Dave and Busters. At least at D&B they have armed security to throw people out when people misbehave! Every time I went to Buffalo HHLA there was always a drunk jerk that the waiter...

We ordered to go, I wanted mac n cheese and I asked if I can have panko on top and rudely said I can't. About 5 min after ordering, we decided it would be better to just dine in and let her know as she was passing. She said "just one second" and kept walking without even looking at us. We stood by the entrance of the dining area waiting to be seated. Got tired of waiting for her to follow up with us so we sat down at the nearest table. About 5 minutes later she plops down our food in to go boxes. I assume she forgot to notify the kitchen that it would be a dine in order but that part was fine. We didn't mind eating out of the To-go boxes. We were going to order some drinks but since nobody approached us to check on us, we decided we'd just need water since the hot wings were getting spicy. I walked up to the register and asked for a glass of water and she said ok and continued to look down at her register's monitor. A few minutes passed and she finally walked away from the register only to sit and chat with other employees that were assembling the table settings. At this point, my girlfriend's mouth was burning from the wings and wanted some water to cool it down asap. We flagged down another server who was great. she brought us water right away.

We love buffalo wild wings and have always had great service at all locations with visited. Please do something about the bratty person (cashier) who doesn't have a name badge. She seems very distracted and does not seem to hold up to the standards that you keep.
