As loyal customers of 60 out, having played over 25 games and consistently provided positive reviews of other locations, I am disheartened to report the lack of adherence to promised promotions and the subpar quality of the experience.
Firstly, despite booking two consecutive games – "Casino Heist 2" and "Smurfs" – I was unable to utilize the advertised promotion offering a 10% discount for booking multiple games simultaneously. Despite my immediate efforts to rectify this issue through both phone communication and email, I received no response or acknowledgment from your team. Furthermore, assurances given by the game master when we arrived regarding a credit for the oversight have yet to materialize, causing my frustration and inconvenience. Moreover, as it was my birthday week, I was dismayed to learn that the birthday discount would not be honored. Given the substantial cost incurred for paying for a three-person weekend booking for two people, I expected at the very least to benefit from the two-person price in conjunction with the birthday promotion. The absence of this courtesy further compounded the dissatisfaction experienced during what should have been a celebratory occasion.
Adding insult to injury, the "Casino Heist 2" game offered at the HHLA location proved disappointingly identical to its predecessor at the West LA location. Had this lack of distinction been made apparent, I would not have chosen in this particular game at such a considerable expense. As a longstanding patron, I have come to anticipate a certain standard of quality and service from 60 out, which regrettably, the HHLA location...
Read moreThis is a fun, professional, high tech escape room company. I've played both of the current games, The Casino & Senator Payne.
The Casino: I really enjoyed the puzzles in The Casino. I found them to be unique, creative and logical. (There was only one puzzle that was a real struggle logically thinking and they mentioned they plan to update it because the majority of groups ask for a hint on it.) I really admire the staff for being so receptive to feedback. The staff is wonderful, professional, upbeat and personable. The room design is excellent. The production value of the decor is excellent. It is very immersive and well themed. I love that the puzzles use multiple senses & techniques, not just logic and locks.
Senator Payne: This room is incredibly unique and fun in theme and presentation. I've seen some similar puzzles before, but they overall have a fresh room. Our group got stuck on the more simplistic things like finding things and quickly understood some of the more complicated puzzles. I think you'd need at least two people to complete this room. Teamwork is highly important. The second half of the game is a little "scary" but nothing extreme. I found this "medium" level room much harder than the casino. Sometimes that's the case depending on the way you think compared to the puzzles.
I highly recommend this company!

Read moreFirst time doing an Escape Room, and this was fun. Came here on a Friday afternoon for a team offsite (there were 10 of us split into two groups of 5). Half of us did the Casino Heist and the other half did the Murder of Senator Payne. My group finished the room a little over half an hour into it. I won’t spoil the twist, but let’s just say it was definitely unexpected! If you scare easily, just be forewarned :) Since we went on a Friday, there was ample metered parking in the front. We booked the rooms online with credit cards and it was a smooth process of checking in. There’s a waiting room where the game master explains the rules. There’s a gender neutral bathroom at the top of the stairs but there’s no elevator, so it’s not suitable if you’re in a wheelchair. If you check in on yelp it says you get a free water, but they stopped doing that and need to update it. At the end of the escape room once you solve it, you have an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback. Overall a really fun time - room decorations were well-thought out, and it was interesting (but not too challenging) to solve...
