Buena Vista Hill Elysian Park — Attraction in Los Angeles

Omg what a dump! Glass shards EVERYWHERE! I was terrified my dog was going to get cut so I had to cancel my entire hike. It felt like the deeper I got, the more glass there was littered. Not to mention all the trash and the countless homeless people. My dog caught the attention of some random dude across the path that was eyeballing us with his hand on something inside a leather bag he was holding up with his other hand. Looked like something you'd see from someone holding a gun they were concealing. This was in broad daylight. Do NOT go here! LA government truly has lost all control...

Cars always speeding up and down and clueless people going to the top thinking there’s something up the hill when really there’s nothing but trees graffiti and a drug addict there’s a very small community of homeless people that wander in and out the bushes and for some odd reason there’s always people parked on the side of the path that just stay...

Would not recommend hiking by yourself, not safe. Had a guy follow me from behind and quickly catch up to me. I let him pass me while he stared at me. He then stopped shortly after he passed me and turned around & stared at me again. Felt like he was thinking about assaulting me. Very solitary area as well with trash...
