I was treated by the owner Dr. Kim, who told me that day, when he finished a crown, that he was retiring, he was very good!. I asked him that another dentist Dr Ari. in his Dental clinic wanted to submit non emergency crown replacements, he said no, if they're not emergencies.Then I went back for 2 cavities, and Dr. Ari put anesthesia, and then suddenly his sister showed up, asking him to work on her teeth, he left me waiting with the novocaine, I was feeling like I couldn't breath, I have allergies! Until after awhile, like 30 min I told him why he was making me wait so long after he started treating me, and the receptionist Jocelyn, starting arguing with me in a very rude tone, very unprofessional! The Dr. came back and finished the cavity, he was Ok.
So then in March 16 2024, I made an appointment to go back, I was felling something in my back front tooth, I showed up on March 21st/2024, and the Dr. Ari was there, I told him that all the requests he sent to Denti-Cal were rejected, because they're not emergencies!, and the same receptionist Jocelyn, started telling me that I was rude by letting him know, that her Boss Dr Kim said they were no emergencies. I told her I was not talking to her, she keep arguing with in a very nasty tone, and the she said she'll call her supervisor, and that I had to go, I told her I was going to make a complaint to the Dental Board, and she said go ahead. This person Jocelyn has to be retrained, or replaced and Dr Kim has at least to come a check his Dental Clinic.
The bottom line they have bad customer service! and also sending requests to Denti-Cal that they're not emergencies.

He also answered a phone call mid-day during my filling. That says a lot . . . I'll be going to a different dentist to get it fixed.
The front staff, a lady, was not helpful when I called to ask her to email me my X-rays so I could go to a different dentist. I called twice and left a voicemail once and received no responses. She was only helpful when she was answering my questions over the phone and even then she seemed lshe was trying very hard to be patient with me. I appreciate the effort but gurl you need your energy cleansed.
The dental hygienist who did my cleaning procedure did a really good job. He was a latino man with medium cut hair and a kind personality. He answered when I called back the fourth time to get my X-rays, and finally I received them via email. In my experience, he's probably the only competent and empathetic person on staff here.

They called me and let me know that I got approved for the deep cleaning and that my next dental cleaning would be covered instead of getting a reimbursement. I asked them how much got approved because I wanted to see if I could get maybe two of them covered since I paid $500 but the lady at the front desk told me she couldnāt see an amount that it only says it got approved. Went to another place two months later and they let me know that my teeth still need a deep cleaning. Called this place back to get a refund since they didnt give me an actual deep cleaning. Just for them to turn it around and call it something else. These people are not trust worthy. They are scammers. Go literally...
