I do not recommend this school I waited 2 years to get in the xray program and the Radiology program never got choosen. For the xray program in order to get in you need medical assistant or AA degree to get in. In which I had my AA. I had passed the math and english scored high on both. Did the interview. I was the only one that showed up on time everyone was late for the interview. Some were not dress properly for interview. They came in jeans and flip flops. Lol. They got choose to the xray tech program. Lol. Crazy. I never got choosen. A year later I got my BA then my MA in business. I reapply again and retook the math and english scored high in both again. I did the interview with Alma Rubio (assiatant principal), and the Director of the Xray/Rad tech program I cannot remember her name but she had colored eyes and another female workers was in the interview as well light skin female with colored eyes as well. Mind you this was my 2nd interview with them in 2 years. I guess the director of the Xray & Rad tech program was more concerned of my Degrees then actually interviewing me. She was more concern my degrees were fake lol how can I get fake degrees from a university???? Good thing that day for the interview I had brought my official Transcripts. She mention to me that I will need to send them my transcripts so I told them I had them. So I pulled them out and gave it to her. While she was checking my college and university transcripts. Lol. I was actually getting a decent interview with Alma and her colleague. While this two are interviewing me the Director from the program interrupts and mention why was I in different colleges and jumping around college to college. I mention to her that you know East La college belongs to LACC district and other colleges. That all colleges are connected with each other. Then she goes ranting why my grades are all over the places. I then mention to her that happen years ago. I just graded with my MA in business and I also got my BA. Why not look in my current time how my grades are. Graduated as Valedictorian. Why judge me in my past and not look at my present time. I guess the Director didn't like my response. From there on out didnt like what I said and was always interrupting me. Just to cut the story short i never got choosen for the program. And I live behind East LA occupational Center.
I guess the Director forgot that those programs are government funded. She just works there she does not own the place or program. She can get replace any time. The best job she can have is in East LA Occupational Center let her try doing that in a hospital she would be out the door in no time. I had reported her to admission and there has been other reports against her and they haven't done nothing about it. I had a private talk with Alma Rubio about the hostile interview that i felt. She agreed with me that others have reported her in the past. I guess East la occupational center is scared to replace her and are scared they cannot find somebody else. Let me tell you East LA occupational you can replace her and you can find someone else. People like that that are power hungry and there are intimated by other successful Latinos that are better then her and putting your own people down is a no no. That's why we are how we are instead of helping our own people we...

Read moreI took my child to their head start program. Everything seem well until my child expressed she was being hit by the teacher. I went the next day ti speak to the teacher and she expressed that no incidents occurred. When I picked her up that afternoon she had an accident and teacher claims she had fallen. But I received no accident note; what a coincidence. I proceeded to speak to a child older than my daughter and the child expressed that the main teacher hits kids on their forehead. And he has seen my daughter get hit multiple times. I contacted Adriana and asked me not to curse. How could I not if as a mother I was frustrated knowing my daughter was being hit. She said she would get back to me and provide me with the supervisors phone number. Which she never did. The next day I went and observed multiple security outside the parking lot. When I walked in I asked if the teacher was there they said no but the supervisor was there for me to speak to her. She claimed she was going to call me to have a meeting but funny thing none of them did. They had time to not have the teacher present and call for more security but they didn’t have the time to call me and set up a meeting. Not only that but when I was explaining the incidents my daughter experienced the supervisor shook her head and smiled. I asked her what was funny. She said she wasn’t laughing she was trying to picture...
